I keep one of these in my glove box. For the price, I think this is a solid buy - it's a great assortment for the size and the quality of the sockets/bits is above average.

Really the only qualm I have with it is the ratchet has a lot of backdrag for a 1/4 ratchet, which makes for an annoying time dealing with small fasteners (but the included spinner handle helps compensate for this).

EDIT: Deal appears to be dead now

I was thinking for my car and for small travel service visits. However it doesn't look like it has good reviews. Anyone has feedback on this set?

Hard to beat this set from HF for $8, if you're just planning on leaving it in the car. Probably not going to last long enough to disassemble your motor on the side of the road, but still handy to have around for other things.

This set is made in Taiwan, so it will be much better quality than the Chinese tool sets some of you guys are comparing it to.

I have the Harbor Freight set, and got it when it was $5 a few years back. The sockets are not the greatest quality if torqueing something really tight, but that ratchet is the best ratchet I've ever owned. If for anything, the ratchet alone is worth $8.
