If you already have the Samsung Shop app in your Android phone, uninstall it and reinstall (to make it forget your main account)
In the Samsung Shop app, create a brand new Samsung account with a different email address
Search for the S24 Ultra and look for the EDU option somewhere at the top right. Choose one of the Samsung exclusive colors (I chose the orange one). Select the 512Gb variant and select 'No' for trade in
Skip the add ons and go to your cart. You should automatically get a $50 bonus for being a new member
Scroll down and look for 'Add a promo/referral code'. Put in your referral code from your main Samsung account
Those are the steps I followed to get $717 before taxes. I then checked out using Affirm because sometimes Samsung cancels my orders if I use my credit card (not sure why).

You could sign into Samsung on a computer, click through the portal on the computer, add to cart, switch to the phone, sign into the Shop Samsung app, click through portal on phone which should redirect to the app, checkout, and see if it tracks.

Edit: Should of read through the comments, I get everything but the referral code to work.
Edit: Deleting and reinstalling the app fixed it.
