$19 price sounds way too high to begin with....doesn't sound like much of a deal even at $8.

I hadn't ordered any woot shirts for 5+ years and really disappointed by how far the quality slipped last time I ordered. I still have a few from when shirts.woot launched in like 2008 that are holding up, but they feel very disposable now.

Same. Some shirts are 10+ years old and are doing great. All that have been purchased within the last 3-4 years have faded quickly and are worse material quality than my old ones. I haven't bought a Woot shirt in over a year because of the poor quality, even with the sales.

I was pretty happy with the slim fit t-shirts I got last deal of 5 for $35. Quality seems pretty good. However , that deal was a very limited catalog. However, a couple of bucks more to have the entire catalog open for purchase is great.

I'll add my similar experience to list. They simply aren't very good anymore. I enjoy some of the designs - way better paying for the privilege of advertising some brand as a walking billboard, IMO - but I don't particularly like throwing them into the rag pile so quickly.

I think the old American Apparel shirts were 100% cotton and now they're some 60/40 cotton/poly blend. Poly pills and doesn't hold a print as well as cotton does.

My advice is to opt for the "distressed" prints where you can to hide the designs being damaged by washing because their printing is "thinner" by design and thus bonds to the shirt sooner in the heat press.

The last few shirts I bought that were full color prints cracked after a half dozen washes. The shirt material was perfectly fine (100% ring spun cotton by Port&Company, made in Honduras), but the screen printing wasn't properly heat set—it was and still feels sort of "gummy" like not-quite-dry latex paint, despite also peeling away from the shirt fibers in thousands of pinholes.

The shirt had 4 colors on dark shirt which might also make a difference depending on how they're printed: white, red-orange, yellow-orange, and black on a dark brown shirt.

I wish they used better printing because I really like a lot of the designs.

Also - wash them inside out, cold water, and air dry if possible (or partially air dry).

Last and only shirt I got from Woot has worse printing quality than street corner vendors outside of sporting events.

That's probably when Amazon took over.

Logos have all stayed solid on mine with regular use & I wash in hot water. They do shrink, and if you get fitted the sleeves will stretch depending on the size of your arms. Wish they were polyester and not cotton. I like that these are unique and chances are very slim you'll ever see anyone else wearing the same one. Worth the $8 imo, but I also don't like to wear what everyone else wears so take it for what it's worth. I managed to find a shirt that says all dogs are cool and it has a 3 legged dog on it. Sister just put her 3 legged dog down, pretty unlikely to find a design like that anywhere else without paying $20+. Ty op.

Obligatory know that the prints will peel off of the shirt after a few washes

I must be AI because I predicted this entire thread. Smilie

YMMV, I have about a dozen Woot shirts from the past 3-4 years and almost all of them are fine. Just as good as the graphic tees from Target or Kohl's (we have a lot of those, too). At least with Woot, you'll have something unique...unlike the big box stores where everyone has the same two Star Wars and AC/DC shirts, even if they couldn't name their favorite movie or song, respectively. Wink

That said, $8 is about the upper limit of what I'll pay here. The fitted option is nice, too. Just right on a medium or athletic build.
