I have had poor customer service experiences with U.S. Mobile. For example, they lost my number for about 4 weeks during a simple port. The only thing that they did to make up for it was offer me $5 off for a few months. And, they kept bragging about how great their customer service was when they communicated with me. This issue was a pretty big inconvenience for me, and I was surprised at how poorly they handled it (given their supposed reputation for good CS).
I also find that they sneakily raise prices or take away features.
Additionally, their subreddit brigades anyone who raises valid complaints.
I don't trust them as a company and find that their CS cannot handle certain issues with any sense of urgency.

They always allow you to stay on your current plan so no issue if they do offer new plans with different options and prices. I have had zero issues that couldn't be resolved in a 5 minute chat. N=1 but very satisfied.
Mine is $12 a month. If I use autopay it goes down to $7.
