You should not have to worry about melting, esp at only 100 watts. It's really amps, or electrical flow, that leads to the melting scenario. The devices you use at around 100 watts, have such low amperage demands, that as long as you have a high quality USB C cord, you should be fine (at worst, the cord might get a little warm). Now, if you had a 15 amp circular saw that ran on USB C or something, and you connected it with a 60w cord... idk, maybe you might have an issue.

Great deal - just note, it appears that discount code is a one time use code if you're wanting to buy more than one set of USB C cords. I went with the 5 pack of 3.3 ft cords for $3.57. Great deal, and I've been looking for shorter cords that create less clutter when plugged in.

Does anyone know what happens if you charge a device that takes in more than 60watts? I have lots of cables everywhere and even some by Lisen that says 120watts, some say 60watts, some say 240watts and they all look the same to me

if i accidentally use it for a device that pulls 100 watts... is it going to melt? the usb-c standard is so messy..

NICE!!!
While I do appreciate the 6ft and longer cables, we almost never see any deals on the 3ft versions.
It will be nice to not have my cables to not require that fireman's loop to take up all the extra length.

Grabbed a bunch of them last time they were posted and so far been taking some abuse and working good. Don't need anymore as I got like 15 of them already but for 3 bucks , its pretty good I feel.

These are USB 2.0 cables, so while they do have data pins, I wouldn't use them for moving data around.
Not a huge issue since these are advertised as charging cables (not data cables), but I hate accidentally grabbing one of these and then waiting hours to transfer relatively small amounts of data.

Looks like deal is dead, code still works but price is $5 for 5 3.3ft cables. Still not a bad deal. In for a pack. Thanks!

Might be the worst cable brand I've ever purchased. 2 out of the 5 brand new cables did not work. This is the first time any off market cables did not work. Please stay away, you've been warned!

I don't get how people use these and they stop working. I bought the "240w" like 6 months ago and they work fine. I use them to charge my laptops and there have been no issues. Wth are people doing with these cheap cables? Playing tug of war?
