At Ivy Bank, we continually review our account offerings to better serve your needs. As a result, on 11/25/2024, we are discontinuing our Indexed Savings account and will automatically transition your account to a High-Yield Savings account.
Here's what you need to know:
Continue to Earn a Competitive Return – Our High-Yield Savings account offers a competitive rate that is currently 10x the national savings average¹.
No Change to Your Account Number – Your account number will stay the same.
No Impact on Recurring Transfers – All recurring deposits and withdrawals will continue as scheduled, without interruption.
Two Interest Payments in November – You'll receive two interest payments: one posted for interest earned up to the day of the transition and another posted at the end of the month for interest earned in your High-Yield Savings account.

Since these HYSA rates tend to be at the whim of the issuing bank, I personally prefer No-Penalty CDs (such as at Ally Bank, for their no penalty anytime withdrawals after the first 6 days); or go with Add-On CDs (start small, add more money if worthwhile later; e.g. with Agfed Credit Union- albeit their rates are too low as of Oct 2024).
I can't seem to find a site that shows UPDATED info on best NoPenalty CD rates.
If you have any bookmarked, please feel free to share :-)
