Extra 2% bonus for making a purchase on November 7th with your BoA credit card. Up to $2500 spend for $50 extra cash back or similar for point based credit card. If you already have the 5.25% for bonus category, this means 7.25% total cash back.

Have it in my calendar to make a $2,500 tax payment at payusatax.com.

Using my BofA unlimited cash card and platinum rewards, that's 4.625% cash back and only a 1.82% payment fee.

That's about $70. Plus I still have 0% promo interest rate until October, since it's a new card.
It's not that exciting. This is essentially up to a $50 rebate on $2500+ spend. Not worth it for most people to go out of their way and time their purchases around this bonus.
But it does stack with preferred rewards.

You won't get a bonus on the 2%, but you will still get your bonus on the card as usual.

If you have customized cash platinum rewards and haven't used your $2500 spend limit for the quarter on your chosen category, that can be 7.25% cash back!

3% - custom category base reward
2.25% - platinum rewards bonus
2% - rewards day bonus

Unfortunately, I already used my $2500 spend for the quarter, so the unlimited cash is a better choice for me.

How did you get to chat. I never can find it?

For those of you that have done this promo previously, it comes back every early November, on any specific date? I want to make a note of that if that's the case

BTW, made $2500 Costco eGC purchase and $2500 utility payment on separate cards, all bonuses showed up fine.

I don't see the bonus. Have you statement closed yet?

For all the transactions that were "pushed out" to Nov 8, give BoA 1-2 weeks. Last year was the 2nd time they did this, and about a week or so after they did an adjustment in the rewards. No one had to call. The first tier CS that you call now will give you the standard response

Re: Costco gift cards: The egift cards should get the extra 2% fine. Physical costco gift cards are "reprocessed" by costco days later - there is nothing BoA can do about it, and I didnt get the extra 2% last year. Lesson learned

Was hoping you were right, but statement has closed and is now Earned instead of Pending. There were no adjustments made and CS response now is basically "too bad" once again.

So this ended up being a 1% instead of 2% day for me because of their system since half of my txn got pushed by one day.

I did get an automatic adjustment on one of my cards on 11/21 (Travel rewards). Didn't call, message or do anything.
But did not get it on another (unlimited cash rewards)
Both of these were payments to the exact same place (insurance). within 5 minutes of each other, around 1pm CST
Go figure.
I will wait another billing cycle before calling or messaging

I got adjustments on both of my cards, and the adjustments added up to exactly what I was expecting from my purchases that I made on 11/7 but got pushed back to 11/8. And I never contacted them, so they figured out the discrepancy on their own.

Based on our experiences and those of others on https://www.doctorofcredit.com/ba...11-07-23/; the pattern I'm seeing is that if we made a single large purchase and it got pushed to 11/8 (or all the purchases), then they were manually adjusted on 11/21. But if SOME of the purchases got the correct bonus upfront, then their manual adjustment missed the rest.
