looks like you are correct. I looked at some posts saying it was gear driven but according to thrustmaster "

The Ferrari version T80 has been $129 at Walmart for a while now. I believe it has the same specs.

Edited: Posters have stated that the T80 does not have force feedback. My apologies.

G29 often goes on sale for not significantly more than this. And sometimes dips to this price point for a refurb or lightly used on classifies listings.

I don't think this is worth it. If it was ~75 it would be worth considering otherwise you might as save up a bit longer and put the money towards a g29 on sale.

Had this wheel for a few years now, purchased at similar price. Can confirm this is the best entry level wheel with Force Feedback for PS5. I got the Xbox version as well, same thing. Great choice for those who want a new product with Force Feedback, but still on a budget. Don't purchase a wheel without Force Feedback, it's critical for correct wheel gameplay. The T150 won't knock your socks off with features at this price point, but it does the job needed and has been reliable. I'd recommend biting at this price point if you are a casual gamer who just wants to get into a basic wheel, but also have quality and reliability.
