I guess returns are not accepted for these purchases unless there is some defect/ damage. Something to keep in mind. I learnt it the hard way
Points go 50% further, it's not 50% off. Here's an example of a $100 item:

10,000 points = $100
what amount of points (define as X) * 150% = 10,000?
1.5X = 10,000 --> X = 10,000/1.5 = 6,667
with 50% bonus, $100 = 6,667 points, a savings of 3,333 points (10,000 - 6,667)
3,333/10,000 = 33%, or a 33% savings

said another way:
normally $1 = 100 points, but with the 50% further $1 = 100/1.5 = 66 points
Old Price = 100 Points
New Price = 66 Points
Change = (New price - Old price) / Old Price = (66 - 100) / 100 = -33/100 = -33%
It's only when you have the Chase Reserve card when you received the 50% discount. Otherwise, if you have the "Preferred", you'll only received 20% discount instead of 25% as stated above!

You're getting a little less than 1.5 cents per point except for the 16 where you get the full 1.5. So this is as good as using chase travel portal

Only 10% more on my Freedom card. And not towards gift cards.

Can anyone confirm if these phones are carrier unlocked? There's no option to select which carrier when adding them to cart. I have T-mobile. Thanks

Other than iPhone most Apple products have good discounts one way or another. There is really need to waste your points on Apple.

Is it worth saving for travel or getting a MacBook Air? I have like 270k points

If you need the laptop then isn't it the same if you use travel or not? In the end you still have to spend. So if you don't spend the point, you go out and buy with regular cash, it's just spend point sooner or later

Don't matter how many cards you have, you need Sapphire Reserve to give you maximum discount

For MacBook Air and Pro, it does not let you buy 16Gb/256Gb. For air you can only buy 16Gb/512Gb and Pro 16Gb/1Tb. So they force you to upgrade spending $400.
Cheap and greedy tactics by Apple and Chase.
