What are you folks doing with your iPads, 4k editing? I've had a 64 gb iPad Air since 2020 with zero storage issues.

This is still a garbage price, though. This should be the retail price and $250 on sale.

I bought mine from Costco Sameday for like $240 after waiting for it to go on sale at Costco, a $20 coupon they send in email every once in a while, and buying 2 discounted instacart gift cards ($80 for $100 worth).

I'm using an 8th generation with 32gb just fine. Streaming, Youtube, Browsing. All no problem. Yes you have to be a little proactive managing available space.
