It is essentially a small, pre-cut double sided tape piece, but just the slightest bit better in every way (for my uses anyway). Easier to remove once done and less risk of fusing with the paint, great size with the ever so slightest bit of depth, holds better over time, easier to apply. And yea, for Halloween we have a number of foam & paper cutouts of bats, pumpkins, witch paraphernalia, etc. all over her door. Around Christmas we will 3M strip/hook a small wreath and put all the general Christmas crafty stuff on with these. We used to use tape, this has replaced it and made it better for the reasons listed above.
