See this video from Jarrod's Tech around the 2 minute mark where he compares it to other laptops for light usage (YT) and gaming

Even if orig_post downvotes me it does not change what Jarrod has found through his hard work and research
We have the 4070 version and can confirm without any tweaks I can overclock the 4070 100mhz + 700 ram and the puppy still runs cool no throttling during benchmark runs

It's not bad, it's mediocre or compromised. It's still a Ryzen chip and still more efficient than the Intel homologs. Compared to its Intel rivals it's still going to have better battery life maybe not that much. Compared to it's own brethren, yes it's going to be mediocre.

Any other in that list isn't worth comparing because it's either a more powerful CPU, GPU or larger battery.
So, no it does not have "far worse" battery life when the aforementioned direct competitors have an edge only by 38 minutes extra as mentioned in that video (again because they're using different GPUs).
Also, I never said this has "good" battery life in the first place. It's just not as bad.

You should go through the video a bit more carefully. Not to mention that it's the worst 4060 laptop and that the next 4060 laptop lasts an hour longer. I also never claimed you said it was "good". The other laptops close to it are HX desktop processors while this is a mobile processor without a GPU.
Basic research (which seems to be lacking here) would also show that it is the iGPU that affects battery life in light applications since the GPU is disabled through Optimus.
Yeah, actually this does not have good battery life regardless of how you try to change it...
