Hmm could it be used for content creation with something like premiere pro if I can find the ram upgrade to 32 GB? Was considering the previous open box Asus PX13: https://slickdeals.net/f/18096895-asus-proart-px13-open-boxes-13-3k-amoled-touch-ryzen-ai-9-hx-370-rtx-4050-32gb-lpddr5-1tb-ssd-994-99?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3AFalse%7CSearch%3AType%3Aautocomplete%7CSearch%3ASort%3Arelevance%7CSearch%3AHideExpired%3Afalse

I bought this laptop during the BF sales and think it is a pretty good config for the price. I also bought 32gb RAM shortly after, also from Best Buy... 2 of these has worked great so far!

Be aware that this 7435 CPU seems not having an integrated GPU. You have to use the 4060 all the time even when not gaming which may cause bad battery life.

I snagged this as an open box excellent a few weeks ago when it was on sale previously.
Great laptop, and if you want to squeeze a bit more out of the 4060, you can get a 230w AC adapter (versus the 170w one it comes with) and it will allow it to do 140w TGP with boost.

Open question to those that feel they can speculate on it; "Why are there so many Open-box / returns on these Legion laptops?"

When CPU has an iGPU some simple tasks can be completed by the iGPU like driving your laptop screen, etc without powering the dGPU. I know some gaming laptop can turn off the dGPU in the command center like the Asus armory crate to save battery and reduce fan noise. 7435 is basically 7735 without the iGPU. Learned that from YouTuber Jarrod'sTech. You can search his video on this laptop.

The 3 in 7435HS stands for zen 3+, which released in 2022. This chip is already 2 generations behind, it's still an amazing chip and holds up but something to keep in mind. There's also no iGPU so no MUX and no Adv Optimus. Everything runs on the 4060. Still a great 8 core chip but not as efficient as Zen 4/5.

Set your expectations for battery life REALLY LOW. I have the slim 5 (7435HS, 4070) and I barely get 4 hours on a 80whr battery doing basic tasks. You might get closer to 3 hours on a 60whr battery.

If you want to use a laptop for longer than 3 hours away from the wall, consider a laptop with 7840HS, 8840HS/8845HS, or the new HX300 chips
