Earlier this year, I spent a fair amount of time shoppong for a standalone battery-powered CO detector and ended-up picking what could be a slightly newer version of this.
This one, the XC01-R, is ~$19 and "Rufus" (Amazon's AI) says it was first sold on July 28th, 2021, the (probably) newer version, the XC04-R, is ~$18 and Rufus says it was first sold on April 24th, 2022.
They're very similar looking and have the same average rating; but the XC04-R is $1 less.

Consumer Reports latest data covers 15 stand alone CO detectors. This one came in dead last.
