i wish walmart would just create some kind of walmart+ /samsclub+ combo with a strong value proposition. we already pay for costco and amz prime and have a basic samsclub membership. not really keen on adding yet another membership fee.
Same here..not sure if something like $50 WM cash deal will come along to make it almost free as last year.

Google is offering a free 6 months of Walmart Plus right now in the Google Play app. I think the offer just started right now, as it popped up in my app at 3am. It offers 6 free months to new or existing members of the service, it gives you a unique code to enter, and it adds another 6 months free to your existing account, or gives you 6 months free on a brand new account. It's in the perks section of the Google Play Store app, and it expires December 31st.
I can not find this! I will keep looking, anyone else get this?

Tipping is still optional on the grocery delivery orders. If you tip zero, Walmart will increase the bid to the dash driver. So you don't need to tip. Let Walmart pay the service provider enough
Many Redditors seem to disagree that this is how it works. Example: https://www.reddit.com/r/walmart/...ght_i_was/

I was interested in joining until I found out there was a tipping function. The meth heads around here would poison your food or damage your items without a tip. It's simply not safe to use a service that includes tipping "if you don't plan to tip." I had someone from Walmart deliver something to me the other day. They rang the doorbell and just stood outside. After reading this thread, I'm wondering if they expected a tip. Dude was driving a beat up car and pulled my item from the backseat. Where do they find these drivers to deliver these items? I'm not saying this guy wasn't qualified or property vetted, but it's strange to me they let a random dude deliver your stuff in their own vehicle. A prior poster said they pay drivers $11 per delivery. That's pretty good if you don't have to drive all around town. Are these people hired from Walmart or a secondary company?

I agree. It doesn't really make sense unless it's a combo deal. If I have to drive to town for Sam's I might as well also go to Walmart.

Worked for me. Thanks OP. We love inhome delivery and being able to walk in, grab something and pass everyone in line for scan and go is priceless.

Just wish HEB had in home.
What is scan and go? Are you saying you can't use scan and go without walmart+?

Reddit is horrible and I don't think links to it should be appropriate on SlickDeals.

Cool. Do you tip USPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon? You are already paying for the service. Why am I tipping? Maybe I should get tipped for posting comments. Send me $1 for bringing you knowledge. Walmart is passing the cost of their service off to you with these tipping scams. Every service from Uber to Doordash underpay their drivers while charging 30-50% more for the product. Who suffers? Stop supporting tipped services.
FYI - if you pick shipping instead of delivery there is no tipping, and many times it gets "shipped" from the local store. Delivery let's you schedule a time for the delivery. With shipping you get it when you get it, but they still provide tracking so you'll know when it gets delivered.

/ but I agree that tipping has gotten out of hand. Corporations need to start paying a living wage, and stop expecting customers to pick up their slack.
