So this rings up $74.50 for the vibrator & $74.50 for the battery kit.
A good deal for both or either half if you want to hack the deal.

Are the blades on this universal or proprietary.

Not that I'd ever suggest it, but if you happened to return your "free gift" batteries the unit cost of the multi-tool would be $75.

Sigh, I didn't realize the one I have currently has already become outdated.
I wish they had a trade in/ upgrade policy like there is for cell phones.

Also, other tool options available.

I'm interested in the 3inch cutoff tool but I heard the 3inch discs are non standard and pricey?

18V SubCompact Brushless Cordless 3 in. Multi-Material Saw with (3) Cutting Wheels
Not true was able to pop some HF replacements on and use it no issue. There's a few adapters included but i dont think i even needed to do that. The ridgid blades are expensive and one shattered on me first time i used it but when I needed to make some cuts this was the only one that would fit the angle and cut metal quickly.

Any thoughts on the grinder? Been waiting for a deal on that, but know next to nothing about it. Thanks.

Don't need any more batteries . Any idea how low the bare tool price will go on sale for? $149 is high and I can get the Dewalt one with a small battery for around $100 on occasion. Think the Ridgid bare tool will make it below $100?

This is a really good deal and I've wanted a cordless multitool for a while. I'm gonna take the plunge. Hoping to find a good track saw deal this holiday season and a small handheld router.

This is a great deal. This multi-tool is Ridgid's latest and is a huge improvement over the older model. I wish I got mine for this cheap.

I bought the older model and returned when I got home and saw the difference.

I agree, new model is a good upgrade. $75 using the discount trick.

I have the older version. Good power and works well.

New one has the paddle switch vs the on/off button of the older. I prefer the paddle but my older one still works so will keep for now.

Can I return the batteries and charger while keeping the multi tool for $75? That seems like a reasonable price just for the multi tool.

This could easily be the WORST multitool of all brands.
