This is an amazing deal if the size is right for you. I bought one of these for 6500 1 year ago in size s4, I'm 5'10" This is in my opinion the best electric assist MTB out there. It has totally changed the game for me and many of my friends. Don't hesitate to jump on this. Again, it is electric assist not throttle. You will ride to places you never could before. Oh they will ship to my area code 94952 for 200.
At my usual bike park there are basically 3 loops in the main area. On my e-mtb I can do 2 loops of the big loop, or 1 of each loop. I get an amazing workout and I have a really good time doing it. And I get to choose how hard the ride is with the pedal assist settings.

On my non-electric bike I can do 1 of the medium loops and I my legs and lungs are on fire. The ride is short, it's not a great workout, and it's not all that much fun because I feel like I'm going to die during the climb.

I'm not in great shape but my e-mtb gets me out there, it's great fun, and I can choose if I want a long ride where I can cover a lot of distance or difficult ride where I really push myself. I love my e-mtb.

That sucks. I received confirmation that the S3 that I ordered was available. Check out https://rockriverpowersports.motorcycles/. I was about to order from there until I saw this deal. They have an S4 non comp carbon for the similar price.

This deal is awesome, but maybe not for everyone. I just started MTB and picked up a '23 Levo Alloy three months ago for $4,000. I'm in my early 30s, 5'11", 207 lbs, and hadn't been on a regular bike for about ten years. Turns out, lots of the good trails I wanted to hit don't allow ebikes, especially national forests with MTB trails. But state parks here in Colorado do allow class 1 eMTBs on most trails, so check if your parks and trails allow them. Honestly, after getting a Stumpjumper and hitting the trails, I liked it way more than the Levo. The challenge makes it more rewarding. The main reason I am keeping my levo is it makes carrying the kids in a stroller so much easier.

Oh and if you are physically unable to ride a regular bike and need an ebike for sure, at that point I don't think the spec difference between the carbon comp and the alloy matters. The carbon saves you 10ibs and you probably won't go downhill or technical trails enough to really utilize all the parts. Currently incycle has a 2022 levo alloy s4 for $3000. I would recommend that instead. Either ways this price for the comp carbon is about the same as what a used one would go for.

TLDR; if you're not terribly out of shape but is able to ride a bike, get a regular bike and save yourself some $$ or get a cheaper/used emtb until you're fit enough to ride a regular bike. Otherwise this price for a carbon comp levo is a steal.

4x your power? So if I can get my bike to 25 mph this baby should be pushing 100 mph. Nice!
