They are extremely compatible in rasterisation performance. Certainly if ray tracing interests you then Nvidia does a better job, but at this level of GPU I would not recommend using it at all because of the performance hit. This is a pretty solid deal and would be a fantastic 1080p gaming machine that could also handle 1440p with reduced settings on demanding games.

why cant we mention the site (i know what its call)
This site wants their referral credit. The cash back you get from another site is probably close to the same amount this site makes if your purchase comes through them.

How's this compare to a 4060?
Performance:
* Overall: The RTX 4060 generally offers better performance, especially in ray tracing and newer games. However, the RX 7600 can be competitive in some titles, particularly older ones.
* Rasterization: The RTX 4060 has a slight edge in rasterization performance, but the difference is often negligible.
* Ray Tracing: The RTX 4060 significantly outperforms the RX 7600 in ray tracing, thanks to its dedicated ray tracing hardware.
Power Efficiency:
* The RTX 4060 is significantly more power-efficient, consuming around 50 watts less than the RX 7600 on average. This translates to lower operating costs and less heat generated.
Features:
* DLSS 3: The RTX 4060 supports DLSS 3, NVIDIA's latest frame generation technology, which can significantly boost performance in supported games. The RX 7600 does not have a comparable feature.
* AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR): The RX 7600 supports FSR, AMD's upscaling technology, which can improve performance but is generally less effective than DLSS 3.
Pricing:
* The RTX 4060 is typically priced higher than the RX 7600.
Conclusion:
The RTX 4060 is the better overall choice for most users, especially those who prioritize performance and ray tracing capabilities. However, if you're on a tight budget and don't need the latest features, the RX 7600 is a decent option that can still deliver solid gaming performance.
Additional Considerations:
* Software Ecosystem: NVIDIA's GeForce Experience software offers additional features like automatic driver updates and game optimization. AMD's software suite is also functional but may not be as polished.
* Driver Support: Both NVIDIA and AMD generally provide good driver support, but NVIDIA's drivers are often more stable and optimized.
Ultimately, the best choice for you will depend on your specific needs and budget. If you're looking for the best possible performance and features, the RTX 4060 is the way to go. If you're on a tighter budget or don't need the latest features, the RX 7600 is a solid alternative.

Elevensies? Dinner? Supper?

Seriously though, this is a fantastic rig. I always built my own gaming desktops until a year or so ago when I just got tired of always chasing new parts. I got a Legion desktop with a Ryzen 7 7700 and an RTX 4070 12GB for a little under $1,200. It's the first prebuilt gaming PC I've bought in my years as an IT professional and gamer, and it has been absolutely fantastic. Quiet, runs cool, great RGB, and high quality components. I can wholeheartedly recommend a Legion desktop. And I used to be staunchly against prebuilts.

Depends on what kind of gaming you want to do. Xbox will be the easiest option for plug-and-play gaming on a TV, plus games are highly optimized for the hardware and will look great. An entry-level PC will require a bit more work to get the ideal settings for performance, but will offer you far more flexibility for the number and type of games available to you, with the option to upgrade hardware in the future.

If you strictly look at CPU and video card, then yes.

Otherwise, I prefer the Legion one as it offers more expansion options (e.g. more .M2 slots and RAM slots) as well as better case with cooling fans.

I've been super happy with the X except for the absence of freeware add-ons. But not at the cost of worst performance and graphic quality. I only game Microsoft flight simulator.

I bought a refurbished Series X for $299 and I can't think of a PC at that price that would give anywhere near the same graphical performance!
