I love this set. I have three of them already as I keep one at my primary house and one at a couple of the rentals out of state. This is a quality set and very desirable when on sale. I bought mine a few years ago when the sale price was $99. In my opinion, still worth it at this price.

Does seem like a good no filler set.

But….i think a screwdriver handle would be nice to have (even though screwdriver bits rapidly turn into filler).
Especially since it is a blow molded case so you can't customize it at all. At least that $99 craftsman one that keeps popping up has a box that allows a little room for customization.

Seems like gone are the days that this set goes for much less than this.

Yeah, the most recent price cheaper was in Jan 24 and not much cheaper. Doubt it will ever see $99 again…

I appreciate that. But if they included a screwdriver handle they would throw in 40 bits to inflate the count. Also, I'm just looking for as many sockets as possible in one location. I'm not looking for an all inclusive type of set with adjustable wrenches and pliers, etc. I didn't even want any wrenches. I have ratcheting wrench sets already. It's all about the sockets for me on this one… I can deal with the Allen keys…

This is the best socket set for the money, hands down. Minimal/no filler.. although, I'd prefer a little cheaper price point.. Regardless, solid set and a damn decent price. Love mine, and the case seems to be holding up fairly well too. Thanks OP

What are 28 hex keys doing in a socket set? Seems like an odd addition. A socket set should be ratchets, sockets, and socket accessories. That's it. Are they trying to make this one of those ubiquitous general use "mechanics sets"?

I canceled the 205 pc from yesterday and ordered this one instead, higher price but more tools will be used for my intended purpose. Working on VAGs I prefer the Hex and Torx sockets over the Nut Bits, and the large-size sockets since I already own a ratcheting wrench set.
