After doing the $5 sub I didn't see the Skip to Gold under my rewards but it was located on my main page of the Play Store app. Here is a screenshot of what to look for if you can't find it: https://imgur.com/a/iPHD9kR

Once I skipped to gold, the 30% off coupon showed up under Perks when you look at your Play Points by clicking the blue point total on the top of the main page https://imgur.com/a/DKZNsyg

What happens if you bought a phone after trade in, and for some reason you want to return it back. Do you get back the full value of the phone or the trade in price is removed ?

The trade in price will be applied as a Google Store credit I believe in that case.

I believe this is not Ymmv, just now figured out and ordered.
1. No Active 0$ trail Google one subscription.
2. No Active 0$ 3 months trail google pass
3. New/Old G account (US region, Add card for activating play pass)
4. Buy 5$ play pass
5. Redeem Skip to gold level.
6. pass > gold > perks > U will be seeing a 30% promo banner in UI
7. redeem and order pixel 😇
optional - post ordering once shipped, within 48 hours of google pass activation apply for refund for play pass 😅 (Risk)

Extra savings : popular cb site 2% + once You got the voucher, activate google one plan (Not trail ! skip trail pay for monthly plan which offers 10% CB) on account u wish to order the phone, u will get 10% back (am not sure about expiry) u can use it for next year pixel trade in.

Trading in a Pixel 8 128GB for the 9 Pro 128GB for about $261. I also have a $42 Google store credit from last year purchase of the Pixel 8, so net payment after trade-in would be $219. In addition, I'm receiving $66 in store credit with Google one membership.
