Maison Margiela. These aren't "replicas" of another brand. They are "replicas" of a moment in time. It's their shtick.
Jazz Club and By The Fireplace are great winter scents, although the latter can be polarizing. Both are on the more masculine side. Lazy Sunday Morning is subtle but great. Feels like spring and daytime. More unisex scent.
Autumn Vibes was meh for me. But I'll give my tester another go and see if my mind has changed.
$75 are good prices for these. If I didn't already own the three that I like on this list, this would be an auto-buy for me.
Jazz Club and By The Fireplace are both solid buys.. but the longevity is pretty poor. Smells great, just doesn't last. With that said, I've bought the knockoff/clones of By the Fireplace and the scent just isn't the same. Stick to these original 'replicas'.
Better deals on these:
* ROSS has both By The Fireplace and Jazz Club in a set: 30ml (1oz) + 100ml (3.4oz refill) for $70 each
* Even better, see if you have a "LUXURY BEAUTY STORE" nearby. This is the official L'Oreal discounter, and they have the 30ml + 100ml sets on sale for $51 each (Jazz Club, By The Fireplace, Beach Walk)
You do realize that Maison Margiela is actually a pretty established fashion brand, right?
These fragrances aren't clones or dupes, they're all original scents. They're meant to replicate real-life "memories", and the brand itself has been around doing high end stuff for years.
To call them unestablished and then recommend Maison Alhambra who is a cheap clone house is just bonkers. Some of Alhambra's knockoffs are decent, but quite a bit of it is so far off from the originals and come in awful looking cheap bottles. They get hyped online for being $20 and trying to smell like a Tom Ford.

Thanks very much for your detailed feedback.
Can you please let me know the projection and longevity of The Fireplace and Jazz Club, more interested in Fireplace?
of late, not sure, I had a very big disappointment with Costco, I had to return two perfumes due to projection and longevity issues, one of the perfumes was Tom Ford Oud I mean seriously, not expecting Tom Ford caliber perfume to perform so poorly, the projection was weak, but the longevity was just 30 mins seriously.
Jazz Club: the first hour it smells great (somewhat similar in the first hour to Herod from PDM), but after that it becomes a skin scent. I bought it directly from the Maison Margiela website. This is an easy pass, in my opinion; you're not missing out. There are better fragrances you can buy that costs about the same.
By the fireplace is more unique. It also lasted longer than Jazz club when I tried my sample. I don't like it enough to own it though.
If you were to pick something from the current listings on costco, Terre d'hermes edt is great if you are looking for a classy scent for day time and are above 30, in my opinion. Heard great things about Wood, Sage and Sea Salt, but it has a reputation of not lasting long (plus this is yet to be discounted).

I had Jazz Club. Good stuff, not sure I would get it again though does not last on me in particular as many other scents I like. Also have ton of other colognes I bought from SD over last few years for great prices. I try to steer away from any source other than Macy's or similar stores. Stuff in TJX etc, is just not the same quality.

Luxury Beauty Store also sell Viktor and Rolf which is where I picked up the gift set for about $60 a year or so ago. I think they also sell Thierry Mugler scents.
You're getting an extra oz for $5 less. BUT… I've been to like 6 Ross stores and only saw it once. But Ross and Marshall's near me (Chicago area) have been having some nice colognes and perfume sets.

Oud Wood smells amazing but it is notorious for being extremely weak. Unacceptable for the price. Supposedly the original formula was a monster but I haven't smelled it personally.
Jazz Club is a top 5 fall/winter frag for me. Longevity is mediocre but it's not an uninspired/obnoxious ambroxan bomb like most frags these days. At this price you can just reapply without feeling guilty lol.
