That "bag" is WAAY too small, for any real lot leaf cleanup, and even at $300 (w/2 batteries), I wouldn't buy it.(unless I didn't have a blower already, and/or really needed the batteries for something else).

Figure the batteries are worth $80-100 each, so tool is "worth" the rest.

I have this and yes the bag isn't huge but it does grab a significant amount of leaves and makes carrying easier and more mobile. Dumping the bag is super easy. Best way to use this thing is to do a few smaller cleanups rather than one large one. The harness is so clutch. Makes using this so much easier. If you've ever used a leaf vacuum with the larger bags they are super annoying, always hitting your leg or dragging on the ground. Love my unit!

To each their own. I have an acre of land, and have to clean out about half of that in the fall. Just did the 1/8 acre back yard, and doubt that this thing would let me do it in one go. Filling and emptying that bag multiple times would be a PITA.

Some people just want to leave a log in the punch bowl. Humble brag "I just did the 1/8 acre back ..."

This things just sits in my basement while my leaf blower and lawn mower do the job. I have thought about using a barrel attachment but it's just not worth it

a) There's no "humble brag". I just did my back yard, so know the amount/volume of leaves involved.

b) that "old" 40v mulcher is the one of two 40v products I bought and returned. Found that (for me), nothing beats using my 40v blowers to get the leaves done.

I have found in general backpack/handheld vacuums do not work if you have any substantial amount of trees in your yard. I find it better to just get a gas blower to blow all the leaves to an area or driveway and then mulch/bag the leaves with a good lawnmower.

Agreed. And I don't even mulch/bag them. I have a substantial treeline on my property, and I just blow all the leaves BACK into the treeline floor, so no need to bag/mulch.

I have a bunch of mulch and the leaves get all over it. Will this thing suck all my mulch up? I use a blower but the freakin blower blows my mulch everywhere because I have weed barrier.

This unit is great. It bags enough leaves minimal dust and saves on having dozens of leaf bags . My only gripe is the blower / mulcher switch knob can get stuck at times

No trolling. I had bought the Ryobi 40v Mulcher with the BIGGER bag, and was hoping to be able to use it to clear my back/front yards.

The LARGER bag filled up WAAAY too fast, even mulched, and emptying it was a PITA. So sharing my experience, and relating it to this one with the even SMALLER bag, which means that unless you have a really small lot (like 1/4 acre total), using this is going to be a PITA and emptying it on a very frequent basis.

I now just blow the leaves back to the treeline behind my house, and let them self compost there.
