Successfully added it to cart then it went OOS before I could check out. DSG's website always seems super slow on firefox.

It's cutting it close, but my guess is most airlines wont actually check.

Used it recently on 2 overseas trips. One in Asia and one in Europe and they were fine as carry-on.

Although the 42L size is sold out, they still have some in the Small (50L), Medium (71L), Large (95L), and Extra Large (132L) at half price. ($75 to $85)

I paid this price back in May. I'd say it's a nice, tough bag with good zippers, easy to wipe down if you use it camping like me. I wouldn't say it's a great deal for the price, but it's worth it if you need a nice bag.

Yeah I've used one of my base camps a carry on but I think mine was the 60L. I bought it years ago and can't remember the exact size
