Anyone know if you can buy an edger attachment that will fit this?

Probably not, only the higher end Greenworks 80 volt string trimmers can do that. It will say attachment capable in the title or description of them if they can. But I don't see it on this one and it is a basic 80 volt Greenworks string trimmer. Still a good deal though!

Expensive
This price for the tool/battery combo is cheaper than buying the 80v battery by itself

I couldn't find one that said it would work with this model either. Thanks for confirming. Good deal, but not what I need.

My 60 volt has an auto feed. Run string through head then rotate head to wind up string.

I noticed there are basically 2 types of string trimmers they make; one with the motor in the rear or motor in the head. And in the motor in the rear they have the option of attachment capability. They also have 2 options with the handle, this type and the one with the safety on the palm area. I prefer the later design.

Does anyone have experience with the newer gen one that is attachment capable?
