CVS Info:

First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.

Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called ExtraCare Bucks (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.

Often, CVS advertises items as Free after ECB For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.

The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions then earning more to keep doing the same. Its a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

I know it's my fault, but I have no choice but to give him a key. I give up. I'm just going to be extremely hard on him for now on. Screw giving him leeway with this teacher. I'm going to start being on her side. That's how angry I am. Farking show and tell, distracting all of his peers, while the teacher is trying to teach. Mad He knows better. Mad
hug Did he get a note home about distracting everyone? BT's backpack has a keyring attached to the inside by the hook. It's on a bungee. Maybe it goes there WHEN he finds it. He will find it. hug

Honey, he's a kid. They lose things. You'd cringe if I told you how many keys I lost when I was a kid. It's ok. They get distracted, they do weird stuff...just take a deep breath.
I think I'm more pissed that he needs a key or that he was using it to distract other kids in his class.

You know the issues I've had with him in school. This is just the last straw for me. I'm seriously "up to here" and absolutely can't take anymore.

Ok, it's here. Hopefully that doesn't bring up bad memories for TS. If so, please don't click, TS. hug
Thanks! I'm going to check it out.

Mad No, he got a mark for something else! That's adding to my anger. Not only did he get a mark for something, but then he felt that it was acceptable to have more bad behavior?!
He doesn't behave like this at home because he knows better. He knows better at school, too, but obviously doesn't care about the consequences.

Roll Thank you, hun. I needed that. laugh out loud

I asked her to look for it, but I'm going in tomorrow anyway. The kid is positive it's in the class (which makes me feel better since it could have been in any number of other rooms/hallways).

He used to wear it on a chain, but he broke the chain by playing with it too much. I'll have to do what AM says and find some place to attach it to his backpack where he can't possibly lose it.

No, I understand, but you also know that several of the times he's been in trouble, he probably shouldn't have been. I'm not saying this time, He knows he shouldn't be distracting others, I'm saying some of the times. She's a looney toon. You just have to take it on a case by case basis is what I'm saying. Just take some time to calm down. hug

Yeah, it's very hard for me not to lump every issue together right now and place the blame on him for all of it. You're right. I need to step back and calm down. This kid is going to be the death of me. laugh out loud

Sorry, RRG. Normally I wouldn't have brought this up at all in light of your issue, but I really needed a sounding board. I probably should have stuck to ew. I hope you know I'm not trying to take away from your issue by posting mine. hug

Here are a few tips I found via Google/ehow:

Think practical - When you've lost EVERYTHING, you need everything. Start with basics such as personal hygiene products: hair brush, toothbrushes in adult and kid sizes. Shampoo in smaller containers (storage space may be a problem so go with smaller sizes immediately following a disaster.) Think about all the things in your bathroom and know that the victims have none of those essentials.

Maybe also consider suitcases. How are they going to haul all the new stuff around until they settle? Suitcases or plastic bins with lids.

Iagree The bins are on sale most places right now because people are packing up from Christmas.
