    • "This is a true liquidation sale of approximately 1300 guitars at approximately 65-80% off. We bought the diamond guitar company during covid and had to move factories. We got a container shipment that had too many issues so we are leaving the factory and liquidating the entire order at fire sale prices. They are sold as is, but returnable for any reason. Just ship back no questions asked? (customer is responsible for any and all shipping costs if returned) So what makes them B-stock? Most of it is relatively minor. Buffing scratches, buffing burn through, pin stripes off by a hair, fret sprout, finish blems, repacked, finish bubbles, or in need of service, setup, adjustment, knobs needing adjusted (set to high or low on post), came with wrong color trem bar, maybe a corroded screw, etc. Nothing will be severely broken, cracked, or unable to function and play. You might get a perfect gem. We declared the entire shipment b-stock without inspecting all 1300 one at a time. We saw enough to make that judgement call. Most of this is pretty minor, but its enough that we don't want to deal with 1300 guitars one at a time and photograph them all, etc. All items will have either a used, b-stock, or similar marking on the back of the headstock. In many cases we are selling these for less than the parts of pickups you get. These prices (on the diamond guitars only) are all at a loss so we wont have time or resources (budget) to sort through and find you a gem, or take pictures, or weigh them. That's fine on normal product. The intent is to move these fast and cheap. For reference, the prices on the diamond guitars website are published. We will consider bulk purchase inquiries as well. You may return these for any reason, but shipping will be the customers responsibility as we told you up front these are a fire sale liquidation as is."

Barchetta/Halcyon = Strat style
Bolero = LP style
Monarch = Prs style
Bird of Prey = Dean ML style
Maverick = Tele style
Renegade = SG style (but thin line so the body is extra thin)
Hailfire = Firebird style
Imperial = 335 style

guitar i ordered -

build quality looks pretty good, haven't played it yet. The finishes on these are pretty bad though

looks like it has way too thick of a finish, and the finish on it was never buffed. it's not smooth as you rub your hands over it, feels chalky and is a matte finish almost. thinking about stripping everything off it and trying to buff it out to see if it gets better (it should with a bench buffer and polishing compound)

barely see the tiger striping of the wood, buffing may help

also color is way off, this is yellow, which the pic is a white/natural. buffing may help with that also

Received my Hailfire SM today. Action is a little high and will (should) be an easy correction with truss. I'll let it settle with tension from tunning first.

It's definitely what I see as b-stock from other manufacturers. That said, the 'flaws' are limited to scratches on back plastic compartment cover and perhaps the jack plate not being as flush as it could be. Both are also simple adjustments.

Plays really well - Seymours sound as expected and zero issues with controls. Single coil tap works well and feels more 'true' when pulled than other guitars I own with simpler setup. Wish there were separate vol and tone pots for each pickup. Body is gorgeous and it sustains very well for such the thin rig. Jointing looks solid. Nothing I am concerned about, but time will tell. Voicing is amongst one of the most versatile I have in a collection of 20.

Well worth $300. I'm on site right now looking to pick up another model. This is a great deal for a player guitar, but not going to appreciate like other brands. Great studio or mid tier quality, and a good value. Helluva Slickdeal find.

Update: ordered the Renegade with the EMGs. Looking forward to Diamond's take on the SC.

Update to the Update. Much better set up on the EMG's Renegade. Little hickey at one fret and dent on back of headstock from what could only be the pointy end of a Phillipshead, right between the nut end tuners. Stuck a pick holder there and I'll never think of it again. FANTASTIC player. Better quality overall from most Epiphone SGs I've played.

They've added some more models but also increased prices on the higher ends. Almost pulled the trigger on a $279 Bolero. Now up to $349.

Originally it was maybe 6-10 models. There are 31 live now and more going up.
Just FYI, you can get a brand new Squier without issues for $159.

I ended up going with a "Diamond Guitars BOLLTP-MTB / Bolero LT Electric Guitar Matte Black Finish" because I've never had a LP style guitar and I thought this one looked cool. https://worldmusicsupply.com/prod...ck-finish/

I'd spend a couple hundred more dollars and get the model these are based on.

Not sure where the comment went, but this thread had a post from someone at Diamond (i think?) detailing the reasons these are being liquidated

tl;dr they temporarily had a factory in china that produced functional but not pristine guitars for them. Over a thousand with blemishes, dings, scratches, etc that they can't be bothered to sift through. You're buying one of these

They also jacked up the prices for a lot of them once they saw the thread here gaining traction, right around the time that post disappeared. Take that as you will!

Yah it was a post from the VP from WMS. As far as the prices, the Barchetta LT and low end Bolero are all still $149. I think they included shipping costs in the website as that is what I am seeing.

EDIT* it seems the prices on the website are changing. Just called them. They were scrambling to the rest of the Guitars on the website beyond the Barchettas. They had some errors which included not showing the shipping costs on some of them which they have been fixing. They honor any price in the cart that you paid for they said. So for one of the Bolero guitars I personally saw earlier at $199 and is at $249, that was the wrong price. It was a price for one with a broken fretboard in the shop. The person entering in the data on their webpage just looked at the tag in the store and didn't noticed it was for a specific broken one.

This is how I look at it. I bought one of the Halcyon guitars. It has 2 Seymour Duncan pickups that retail for about $110 each and graphtec radius tuners that retail for $90-$130. A floyd rose special is about $90 (too bad it isn't the 1000 series). So that's already $400 in parts (if you paid full retail). I got the guitar for $350.

I'm not seeing any EMG pickups or Seymour Duncans, just Diamond pickups.
The bolero, renegade, and barchetta with EMG pickups just went live on the website. They start around $269 with free shipping.

World Music Supply is blowing out Diamond guitars. They are taking a bit of a loss but they are great deals. They are not checking every single guitar, so they are just calling them all "B Stock" and saying that some may have minor flaws

For someone who has very little experience in playing an acoustic guitar and fell off my lessons when I was younger because It wasn't rock and roll sound I wanted. What guitar would you recommend on this sale lineup for a beginner that would inspire the inner wanna be shredder in me?

Here is a decent review. Basically needs a nut replacement, fret job and a professional setup to get the action low.
