    • "This is a true liquidation sale of approximately 1300 guitars at approximately 65-80% off. We bought the diamond guitar company during covid and had to move factories. We got a container shipment that had too many issues so we are leaving the factory and liquidating the entire order at fire sale prices. They are sold as is, but returnable for any reason. Just ship back no questions asked? (customer is responsible for any and all shipping costs if returned) So what makes them B-stock? Most of it is relatively minor. Buffing scratches, buffing burn through, pin stripes off by a hair, fret sprout, finish blems, repacked, finish bubbles, or in need of service, setup, adjustment, knobs needing adjusted (set to high or low on post), came with wrong color trem bar, maybe a corroded screw, etc. Nothing will be severely broken, cracked, or unable to function and play. You might get a perfect gem. We declared the entire shipment b-stock without inspecting all 1300 one at a time. We saw enough to make that judgement call. Most of this is pretty minor, but its enough that we don't want to deal with 1300 guitars one at a time and photograph them all, etc. All items will have either a used, b-stock, or similar marking on the back of the headstock. In many cases we are selling these for less than the parts of pickups you get. These prices (on the diamond guitars only) are all at a loss so we wont have time or resources (budget) to sort through and find you a gem, or take pictures, or weigh them. That's fine on normal product. The intent is to move these fast and cheap. For reference, the prices on the diamond guitars website are published. We will consider bulk purchase inquiries as well. You may return these for any reason, but shipping will be the customers responsibility as we told you up front these are a fire sale liquidation as is."

Hailfire has pickups in wrong positions and several chips/scratches and bad frets. Ugly scarf joint.

My guitars just shipped today. I'll let everyone know how they are when they arrive. I've bought several guitars from world music supply in the past and always had a good experience. I only had an issue once and I just called and they took care of it right away. They are cool guys and easy to work with.

Fingers crossed. I ordered a couple of higher-end Boleros and a Hailfire. Some of the comments here aren't very encouraging.

guitar i ordered - https://www.diamondguitars.com/bo...in-naturalpics of guitar i received - https://imgur.com/a/6WzXyhAbuild quality looks pretty good, haven't played it yet. The finishes on these are pretty bad thoughlooks like it has way too thick of a finish, and the finish on it was never buffed. it's not smooth as you rub your hands over it, feels chalky and is a matte finish almost. thinking about stripping everything off it and trying to buff it out to see if it gets better (it should with a bench buffer and polishing compound)barely see the tiger striping of the wood, buffing may helpalso color is way off, this is yellow, which the pic is a white/natural. buffing may help with that also
Damn. Same guitar I ordered. Did you get any ship notification? I've gotten nothing

Received my Hailfire SM today. Action is a little high and will (should) be an easy correction with truss. I'll let it settle with tension from tunning first.

It's definitely what I see as b-stock from other manufacturers. That said, the 'flaws' are limited to scratches on back plastic compartment cover and perhaps the jack plate not being as flush as it could be. Both are also simple adjustments.

Plays really well - Seymours sound as expected and zero issues with controls. Single coil tap works well and feels more 'true' when pulled than other guitars I own with simpler setup. Wish there were separate vol and tone pots for each pickup. Body is gorgeous and it sustains very well for such the thin rig. Jointing looks solid. Nothing I am concerned about, but time will tell. Voicing is amongst one of the most versatile I have in a collection of 20.

Well worth $300. I'm on site right now looking to pick up another model. This is a great deal for a player guitar, but not going to appreciate like other brands. Great studio or mid tier quality, and a good value. Helluva Slickdeal find.

Update: ordered the Renegade with the EMGs. Looking forward to Diamond's take on the SC.

Update to the Update. Much better set up on the EMG's Renegade. Little hickey at one fret and dent on back of headstock from what could only be the pointy end of a Phillipshead, right between the nut end tuners. Stuck a pick holder there and I'll never think of it again. FANTASTIC player. Better quality overall from most Epiphone SGs I've played.

I ordered a pair of guitars, a 7 string Halcyon and Satin Halcyon. Both guitars looked great. My only complaint is there could have been a more professional way to mark the guitars as b-stock besides tapping the back of the headstock with a phillips screwdriver and a hammer. No biggie though, I'm just going to drop fill it.

I ordered a purple Bolero last Friday and arrived today. It looks and plays great. There is a blemish / chip out of the back of the headstock. Well worth it.

I ordered two:

Diamond Halcyon HLCFM7-FR-JD - I wanted a 7 but didn't wanna spend a lot. SD pickups and the price hooked me. Has the X on the back of the headstock for B stock. Flame looks great. Everything seems to be in working order. Came in tune. The bad: has a very small scuff on back of upper cutaway. Both cutaways could been sanded better. Some slightly lifted frets on the high E side. Some minor fret sprout. What you'd expect from a budget to mid range import.

Diamond Guitars BARSTF-RLB Barchetta: Now this is where it gets interesting. Had an inspection paper in the box, dated 4-17-2021. Says TWISTED NECK. Kind of a big deal. However, I can't tell if it's twisted. And the box def was opened before so for all I know paper could be a different guitar. Locking tuners I didn't expect. The bad: has a black mark in the flame near the bridge in the middle. Nothing big. Cutaways could have been buffed a little better. No fret issues. Didn't notice any lifted. No fret sprout. If I paid $6-700 for this I'd have still been happy with it. Great deal on this one.

The both chug nicely as expected. But I only got 15 min in on each of them. So might feel different tomorrow after playing some more.

None of mine have that on the headstock. I have 4 and they are all fine on the back and front. Nothing smacked into it to cause an impression that looks like a Phillips-head marking.

Gorgeous otherwise, I feel like it was just a bad attempt at marking the instrument B stock. Maybe it was done at the factory, but I read somewhere they said they would be marking guitars B stock. This guitar had a few very minor finish issues, the B stock marking is ironically the biggest one though. I'm a little worried after reading about others experiences with inspection tags for twisted necks though, so I guess I have to take it to a tech asap, a huge pain if we have to pay return shipping. It's my first floyd rose guitar so I'm going to have it professionally setup. Hopefully major defects are not a widespread issue. That would be rather upsetting...but if the B stock mark is the biggest thing I can defintiely live with it. Great value if thats the case.

Like you said, looks good except that screwdriver mark. Not sure why that is there. Here are the pics of all mine that I finally took.

I made sure to take a picture of the back of all the headstocks. No screwdriver mark on any of them. Besides to super thick finishes, there isn't a single problem with any of them. Well, I guess having the wrong grain for the Ice Blue is another problem if I was hung up on that. I originally bought the Barchetta for my wife. She likes purple and thought the purple Aubergine was her style. It came in and as you can see in the pictures it is a more pink-ish purple with those metal flakes giving it a sparkle. My wife hates "girly" stuff like sparkles or the pink color. So I guess it's mine or one day my daughter's if she ever wants to get into learning guitar. Then i ordered the Bolero in Ultraviolet Linear Burst. I called in asking about it. Was told the finish was thick and the purple wasn't as "punchy" as the Diamond website shows. Wife likes black, and likes purple so I thought I would give it a try. It came in and the purple is as you see in the pics. Super dark that it is hard to tell in normal lighting. Wife was OK with that Bolero, but wasn't super jazzed about it since it didn't match the pictures. I think it's fine though. Well, I called again wanting one for myself. I was interested in the Ice Blue Monarch or Bolero for myself as I liked the look of the stock photos. Was told they didn't have any for sale. At which point I asked which Monarchs they had left since I was interested in trying that body style from them. They had a couple of colors I didn't like and the Trans Purple. I ended up going with the Trans Purple. Again, like the Bolero, it was super dark on the finish. If anything it was even darker than the Bolero.

After their additional shipment to the store from the warehouse last week, it looks like they had a few Iced Blue Boleros for sale as they were on the website. I bought one and it came in just as the picture show. It definitely does not look like the stock photo. Again, a much darker and thicker finish. The wood grain pattern is also very different than what the stock photo shows. The stock photo has what looks like a vertical spalted maple top while the one I got looks closer to a stripped flame maple top. Here is a picture of the stock photo again. Just compare that to what I got.

I just received a Bolero in Trans purple, I've yet to plug it in, but so far, so great. The fretwork is top notch in terms of finishing, next to no sprout. I'm a beginner, so it might be my finger positioning, but there might be a high fret or two. Like others have mentioned the finish is very dark, kind of an eggplant purple, almost no wood grain, but I'll be honest I prefer it. The headstock is black, along with the back of the neck and body, the binding really pops.
Did anyone who received their guitar(s) already have either the truss rod wrench, or bridge adjustment, if they're typically provided on LP/SG style guitars? I only received the guitar itself and no adjustment tools.
