    • "This is a true liquidation sale of approximately 1300 guitars at approximately 65-80% off. We bought the diamond guitar company during covid and had to move factories. We got a container shipment that had too many issues so we are leaving the factory and liquidating the entire order at fire sale prices. They are sold as is, but returnable for any reason. Just ship back no questions asked? (customer is responsible for any and all shipping costs if returned) So what makes them B-stock? Most of it is relatively minor. Buffing scratches, buffing burn through, pin stripes off by a hair, fret sprout, finish blems, repacked, finish bubbles, or in need of service, setup, adjustment, knobs needing adjusted (set to high or low on post), came with wrong color trem bar, maybe a corroded screw, etc. Nothing will be severely broken, cracked, or unable to function and play. You might get a perfect gem. We declared the entire shipment b-stock without inspecting all 1300 one at a time. We saw enough to make that judgement call. Most of this is pretty minor, but its enough that we don't want to deal with 1300 guitars one at a time and photograph them all, etc. All items will have either a used, b-stock, or similar marking on the back of the headstock. In many cases we are selling these for less than the parts of pickups you get. These prices (on the diamond guitars only) are all at a loss so we wont have time or resources (budget) to sort through and find you a gem, or take pictures, or weigh them. That's fine on normal product. The intent is to move these fast and cheap. For reference, the prices on the diamond guitars website are published. We will consider bulk purchase inquiries as well. You may return these for any reason, but shipping will be the customers responsibility as we told you up front these are a fire sale liquidation as is."

Now that I've picked my second guitar (first electric) can some point me in the direction of a good starter kit or a lot of cheap items I'll need to get started practicing.
You'll need an electric guitar cord/cable and something to plug it into.

None of the diamond guitars that I received shipped with a cord. You get a guitar in a guitar box. So if you need to play, there are two ways to go about it. First off, you still need an audio cable. These are fairly cheap and you don't need nor really want a long one. You don't have to go super expensive unless you are looking for a particular sound as an experienced player. After that, you need something to make the sound louder. So you can either buy a cheap guitar amp+speaker combo or use your computer. If you use your computer you still need to buy an audio interface. There are also a bunch of inexpensive audio interface products with many of them listed on this site. If you decide to go the computer route, you still need software to interact with the interface to play sound. I use Amplitube, but there are other software suites with free, if limited, offerings.

Don't make life difficult, just get a electric guitar headphone amp and use headphones. Your neighbors would appreciate it and no one has to know how you develop as a musician. eBay has lekato as an example.

Anyone order by Paypal without creating an account with World Music Supply? Haven't seen a confirmation email other than my Paypal receipt, ordered Friday. May try calling after work tonight if I don't see an update.

I received my Bolero LT today. I'm trying it out right now. The high e string was broke, but no big deal. Upon close inspection I can see a slight paint defect by the pickup switch. The action's a bit high for my liking, but it still plays very nice. I think the neck is nice and smooth. The tuners are a bit janky. Overall, it's a good deal. This guitar feels great.

I did the same thing when I bought on Saturday. I didn't receive anything other than the PayPal receipt as well. I just let it be and just noticed that the money was pulled from my account this morning. I am assuming that they are prepping it for shipping. Let me know if you call and get any information on if we will receive an actual receipt.

Good news, just checked the mail and it's already here. Not bad for a late Friday order.

Just an fyi. I bought the Barchetta version, shadow silver I think. The color way better than I expected. I ordered Friday early, I'm in Indiana. Delivered early today I opened it up. It was double boxed but the guitar itself was not packed too great. The micro amount of that foam, kind that breaks and goes everywhere was everywhere. Since there was so little it made little mess. I cant imagine how they get anywhere without damage, but it was not. Obviously I expected the worst inside the half torn foam bag. To my surprise it had no glaring issues. I looked it over pretty well, I see one slight imperfection in paint, but so small you have to search, no complaint, and I'm picky. So I did the normal, first tighten up the LOOSE neck, all screws 1/2 turn or more with my big screwdriver. Then the tune up, everything was within a 1/2 step. Not that it matters but tells me it's been tuned. The intonation is the surprise, maybe the best I ever got out of a box. The action is very low and NO FRET BUZZ at all, frets seam s little small. The fret sprout is very minimal so I won't complain. There is a fret with a dark spot, hopefully buffs up. The mechanics are my main thing so later I'll plug it in to hear it. Just wanted to share my experience of initial look with other buyers.

update to my update - man I love this company, I spoke to them on the phone and they absolutely went out of their way to make sure everything is taken care of. I should have just called them in the first place! I will definitely look to them first for my next guitar!

Update: I ordered my guitars Thursday and they both showed up today. As someone stated above the packaging was pretty subpar but what really sucked was both of the guitars. I ordered one with active EMG pickups, when I went to the diamond website the picture they showed there had a battery panel on the back of the guitar. This one didn't have one so I opened the control cavity and there is a battery...underneath wires that were soldered in a way that you would have to break the solder to get the battery out to replace it. As I look closely there was a pair of wires that had electrical tape on them holding them together. That explains why when I plugged it in it had almost no volume whatsoever (that's why I started looking for the battery) I have sent a request for return, so I'll update everyone on that process. Seems like a good company so I don't expect any issues.

I told my wife that I bought a diamond. She wasn't too thrilled when I showed her the photo.

did both of the guitars you ordered have active pickups? if not, how was the quality of the other guitar? also, which model(s) did you order?

I'm not seeing any EMG pickups or Seymour Duncans, just Diamond pickups.
Imagine getting emg pickups plus a whole gee-gee for a buck fitty...
