I am not 100% certain here, but I believe these two machines are the same SFP703CO (Costco) / SFP701 for the most part. However, Costco and/or other stores usually like to change the model slightly and add features to differentiate their offerings. In this case, I think the Costco model simply has an extra glass lid that other model's don't have.

Edit: So besides the glass lid, the Costco model looks like it also includes a ladle and spatula (based on what I see in the product images)

It's basically just a toaster oven with extra functions and a big panel to control them. IMO the weird units are the ones with the baskets with external handles you pull out, or top-open. This at least can be used under an upper cabinet without interfering with it.

I've been on the lookout for something a bit 'nicer' to upgrade the one I got 7+ years ago @ $20, and I think this fits the bill. Thanks OP

Because people are lazy and/or don't have a lot of time to spare, so 'easy cleanup' is among the top selling points for anything related to cooking. That said, I'm not sure if this a ceramic enamel, but it's apparently not a teflon based nonstick..

Good thing this is @ Costco so you can return whenever if there are any intermittent problems like you described..

As for the vent... Luckily for me, I've got a spot where I can put it mostly under a cabinet but not block the vent on the right side.
Thanks.

I currently have the dual basket and was looking at this. Seems This seems like a better option with more variety in cooking methods.

Just FYI, this thing releases steam like nothing I've ever had, even more than my pressure cookers, it specifically says not to use under a cabinet. Mine even releases steam or superheated air when not in the steam modes.

ETA: Also, As someone who was gifted this oven, there's a really steep learning curve. I have only had it a little over a month but there are hardly any recipes anywhere for it. There's little to no instruction in the booklet it comes with for general use besides "guides" that you basically just have to guesstimate with. I don't mind this as I have just been creating my own recipes, but most of the reviews I have read even about the booklet recipes say that they aren't accurate. I would imagine after learning the power and time on standard things you can use it with more ease but the last month has been a lot of trial and error and overcooked meat, which has never happened to me in my life.
There is a popular Facebook group and I believe a book or two on Amazon. I have been mostly using this as an air-fryer so far, but would like to get into more of the Combi meals eventually. As an air fryer it's the best, mainly because of the glass door that you can see through and there is a light. No more opening your air fryer to check for doneness, just turn on the light and peek through the glass window.

I've had one for about 6 months and love it. I mainly use it for air frying, cooking rice, steaming and proofing dough.

I've done a few "combi" recipes that were really good

Basically my exact plans for it. I typically proof in the oven but that requires manually having it on for maybe 20-60s to raise its temp up to ~90-100.

I keep looking for a replacement oven when my June oven ends up crapping the bed. Honestly the June oven is the best. Put food in, camera detects it, suggests a cooking time. Has a temp probe for precise cooking. So easy I could let elderly parents or young children use it. Sounds gimmicky but it's honestly the best product I have ever bought. This just looks ok as a countertop oven.
Well the June oven is between 800-1000 dollars so it's not a fair comparison.

Exactly why I'm considering this. I have the ninja foodi and I use it at least 3-4 times a week but not being able to see the food sucks.

Bought one of these on Black Friday last year (from Ninja website, not Costco). I paid roughly the same price.
I rarely use the steam option to cook food. When you open the door, condensation gets everywhere and it's just not worth the hassle for me. I have a rice cooker that can steam with less effort. However, the steam option makes clean up a breeze. I just let the steam run, put on some heat resistant gloves, and go to town.
The air fryer option is nice. I also got a three tier rack on Amazon and it works really well with it because there is so much space in there. It doesn't fit a whole frozen pizza easily. I have broken one in half and have the round sides overlap.

Link to the rack that fits? Presumably it sits down within the bottom pan to catch drippings?

Why is this listed as .46 quarts when most large air fryers are 10+ quarts?

Anyone use this very much for bread? The steam option is interesting.
