We tried the same day delivery and I didn't realize that they used Shipt. It's like other side gig service in that they don't pay the drivers a decent wage/travel costs -- and instead ask you to pay a large tip in order to compensate. While my time is valuable, I was basically adding 20% or more per delivery in a tip, which is going to make the overall cost of the membership for more than $50 over a year. I think I would only use it for emergency circumstances now. Otherwise I'll just use the free Circle drive up.
So a $50 membership purchase nets you a $50 off $50 coupon and $50 in rewards.

I can see where this would be useful for some folks, but my Target is within walking distance (not that I wouldn't sometimes use the delivery if it was truly free).
