I have this. Get the top handle version instead. Worth the difference in cost.

D grip or handle. Pistol grip and d handle work best at different situations. Pistol grip is more precise for me. D handle is better for doing upside down cut. Depends on the users but I have both.

For myself, I'd have loved this jigsaw if it had a trigger. The on off switch on this is really only practical for through cuts where stopping midway is not necessary.

Plus the on/off switch was a bit junky and requires the correct angle of thumb to move it. If it's not lined up perfectly, the switch jams.
