Its a great laptop for basic use, and the price is great for what it is as well.

1. 8GB RAM is less than ideal ,AND it's soldered (ughh)
2. a Ryzen 5 7520U looks like a big number, but in reality it's an extremely underpowered chip. The 2 in 7520U stands for Zen 2 architecture, which was released back in 2019, 5 years ago.
3. Some reviews mentioned it comes with Windows 11S, which is a restricted version of Windows that can only use select apps from the Windows App Store. I think it's possible to turn off the S mode, but it's another extra step.
Unless it's only used for a few tabs web-browsing/GDocs, the experience is probably going to suck. It's always better to buy used at this price point than brand new
ok following comparison only applies to me, this is a good deal in my price range. Screen is 300 bits which is the key part for me. A few months ago I bought my Galaxy Chromebook with 10th gen i3 (2 cores 4 threads, 8GB) for I believe in the 200's, after trading in a tablet (which I got for $20 in another slickdeal). is this better? the cpu is about the same, just 4 cores 8 threads where mine is 2/4. but, the 45% NTSC mean my QLED display is much better.
So, I'm happy with my purchase. worse cpu but better display. the cpu in mine is good enough for me.
