The 2 docs you signed through the Walmart checkout had the phone number and account number.
Thanks. I don't remember signing, but clicking agree. I don't have that info with me. Is there anyway to get it now? Or should I wait until getting phone.

All the process will be automatic, you don't need to talk to Tmobile if you select the Tmobile number to transfer to the new phone while activating

Here is my update on my Verizon order. Both phones were shipped via Lasership and successfully delivered today (as estimated by Walmart) even though there were very few shipping tracking updates. Both phones (one purple and one starlight) were brand new with apple tear off seal still which means the starlight description saying it's refurbished is not correct. Since I placed two separate orders as new accounts I set both of these up as 2 different accounts in my Verizon. Both showed a balance of $299 for the respective device. I added my cc to both accounts as a payment method.

I turned on both phones and they went thru auto activation and successfully configured esim and I test ability to make and receive calls.

For payoff I followed the Wiki here using a non-verizon number (note even using us mobile which is a Verizon mvno doesn't work here) to pay off the devices. You want to make sure it truly is a non-verizon number. No issues paying off both phones using the automated call system. I verified as the device no longer showed a balance on My Verizon site.

I then logged into each my Verizon account and started a chat following the wiki for cancelling as of today. Note my activation was on the 14th (based on the documents in my account) but I didn't receive the phone until today (18th) so missed activation cutoff by a day. The chat took some time mainly because it took awhile for their system to process the disconnect but I received no pushback. Both accounts are showing a next bill estimate of $58 but I cant tell if that's the actual amount or a credit so we'll see once the final shows up.

I checked both serial numbers on apples warranty site and both said they weren't able to verify the purchase date. Neither said anything about warranty expired. I'll get the warranty updated later but I suspect as long as you have the documentation you can do that if you ever need warranty support anyway.

My account shows "Your first bill will be ready soon."
Added a payment method and Called "800-837-4966" and paid off device.

Can we cancel the service before the phone is delivered? Thanks.

I cancelled on the day I received the phone. Ordered on 11/11, shipped on 11/12, arrived and cancelled on 11/14. The rep told me the activation fee will be waived. But I still received the bill with activation fee.

same here, my statement is like one whole month charge + activation fee+fees. I called VZ, was told the statement was generate before my closed the line. And there will be an updated statement after a month with updated balance( they will prorate and waive activation fee in the final statement)

For those with AT&T and upgraded a line, have you already been able to pay off your phone? I've been a customer for a really long time and didn't have any active contracts. I got this upgrade last Wednesday, and the installment plan has been pending since then. I also noticed that when I turned on the phone, there wasn't any sort of message about activation and my number didn't transfer. I initiated an eSIM transfer through the AT&T site and confirmed that the phone works.
I've called them, gone to the store multiple times, and did an online chat. They have each been saying different things, like needing to wait 30-60 days to pay it off or unlock the phone. And either they weren't able to see the option for paying it off, or tried and it failed.

My Verizon phone was carrier locked. Wasn't able to activate Tracfone eSIM. Chatted with Verizon agent and they basically said phone will remain locked for 60 days (gave some crappy fraud prevention excuse). I told the chat agent that I had no use for the line if that's the case and the agent helped with disconnecting the line. Gotta wait 2 months now 😔
US mobile works on Verizon based. I assume it also works with Tracfone based but not sure why it didn't work in your case.
