Is anyone else annoyed that they bundled this beautiful white board with a black RAM kit?

Dang. Literally just bought this motherboard and the 64GB white (6000MHz) version of this RAM for a build two days ago. The ~$200 savings could be nice but I'd lose half the RAM and my OCD would be flaring up with the black sticks in the middle of the white board.

Going to think on it.

The black elite is much better value for $319. Same ram has BT 5.4

If I get the new 9800x3D processor for this motherboard would this ram be good enough to take advantage of that processor. Or would 6000 CL30 make more sense?
Latency is in clock cycles so unless the sticks are the same speed, CL isn't going to be a direct comparison. CL32 at 6400 is basically the same as CL30 at 6000 for instance. At any rate, this will be just fine with your 9800X3D (in fact I bought this combo and that's the CPU I'll be running in it)

So very much. I bought this board for my all-white build and I'll probably have to try and sell the ram to buy some white sticks at some point when my OCD can't handle it anymore.

Is this compatible with the Ryzen 7950x? It doesn't seem to show as compatible on the microcenter custom pc builder.

That 6000mhz ram will run better. Since amd infinity fabric runs at 2000mhz and is defaulted to worm with 6000mhz and keeps the coupling. Which saves you some latency. I also have this board, it's solid. White or silver ram is the way to go

The Pro has an extra heatsink/shroud on the board, and uses a better Qualcomm Wifi adapter than either the Mediatek or Realtek adapter that the Elite has. The pro also has more headers to connect fans and pumps, but there are a few other connectors that are different as well. End of the day, the $20 difference won't show in any performance metric (unless you really want BT 5.4 with it's incremental improvements). So at the end of the day the $20 saved isn't providing a much better value, it more comes down to preference.

The 7950x is listed as a supported CPU on Gigabyte's site, so you're good to go.

Zen 5 cpus (and especially the 9800x3d) are supposedly able to run up to 6400mhz without losing the 1:1 MCLK to FCLK where the older Zen 4 wanted the 6000mhz to maintain that 1:1, as the Zen 5 can push the upwards boundaries of the MCLK while maintaining stability better. From what I remember in the test I saw, DDR5 6400mhz CL32 outperformed DDR5 6000mhz CL28 on a 9950X processor, both maintaining the 1:1 ratio. I mean in some tests the difference is tiny, but it's good to note that, worst case, it's not going to hurt to run DDR6400 on a Zen 5.

Isnt the ram included in this bundle CL36? (rather than CL32)

Wondering if anyone knows if the memory bundled with this Mobo is actually compatible with the Mobo?
Normally you would assume the answer is yes, but I know in the past Newegg has had bundles with incompatible parts.
Edited for accuracy:

Yes, this memory is compatible with motherboard.

I've been saving a list of items I need for my next build and this is perfect. The ram is a bonus will probably be selling it to get a white set. Thanks op in for 1!

Correct, I was mostly pointing out that DDR6400 at CL32 was the same as DDR6000 at CL28, so CL36 vs CL30 isn't going to produce a huge difference in this scenario.
Overall for 99% of users anything from CL28-40 is probably going to be fine, and from what I've seen in helping people troubleshoot system a lot of them don't have the ram running at full speed anyway (the system I just worked on from our companies design department had the ram running well under the advertised speeds because the bios settings hadn't even been looked at).

Actually, no it's not compatible. I have no idea why they include this RAM with this board. Will it work? Yes. Will there be issues like not being able to restart your PC using the restart command in Windows? Yes. I ran into this, and other problems, when I got this RAM with the Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX.
This is completely wrong. Not only is the B650 an entirely different chipset than the one on the board here (so the comparison is moot), but this ram is listed on Gigabyte's site as being compatible.

This Corsair RAM is on the compatibility list on Gigabyte's website for this MB, so yes, it is compatible.
