I am probably the only commenter here that has actually purchased this thing! I really liked GAEMS. I have purchased this, their backpack, and the GAEMS Sentinel.

The Backpack felt great at first, but the zippers started breaking immediately within the first month. Fabric is still good. The Sentinel has had no issues with it. The Guardian Pro XP here has been ok, but I did have to send it back in for repairs under their warranty because the speakers stopped working. Customer support was very helpful. The screen is pretty large and the speakers work very nicely. The entire setup feels like a solid product and it is moderately heavy. This worked great for me for a few years until my wife and I got dual mounted tvs in our living room so we could both play our PS5 consoles at the same time. When we only had one tv in the living room before, I just ran an extension cord to this on my couch and played it while it was propped up on the couch.

Having said that, if you have any issues with this product, the manufacturer is no longer in business. If you're ok with the price, it's a great system when it works.

If anyone has any questions, I'll be happy to try to return here later to answer.

Any reason why this wouldn't work for the Series S since it's small?

The Amazon listing for the same item has the Series S listed in the description. It should work fine

Really good price for this setup imo. I wish they had one with a 120Hz panel though. I'd even pay closer to full price for that. I get frustrated when I try to play on anything with a lower refresh rate than what I'm used to, so for now I'll keep carrying around my separate monitor. Thanks for posting OP. This will work for anyone who's not a refresh rate snob.

Doubles as a self defense case when your position is compromised.

It should work fine for connecting the console to the screen, but you may have to remove the plastic tray holder. I don't know if the dimensions of the Series S will allow it to fit with the plastic tray screwed in place while traveling.

Definitely a lot of value in this price, but may have issues requiring a visit to an electronic repair center later on since manufacturer is no longer in business. I want to say this model came out right at the end of the PS4 and Xbox One life cycle so it is a little aged. Great sound and portability though. Screen was a huge improvement to me over the previous model.

Can you use any HDMI device sitting outside of the case?

Yes, the HDMI slots are on the inside edge, so you can use an HDMI device if it's not sitting inside the GAEMS case.

I take this to work every day with a series s in it. I have owned it for probably 5 years. It can be a bit heavy. I use a hdmi splitter and run it with a Steam Deck, Fire stick, and series S. Be warned this company went out of business during covid. There is no support. One of my friends broke their screen and we were able to source one from Ali Express.

I'd be all over this if the screen was of better quality, but not a bad price for what it is. Thanks OP.
