Pay another $10 get the fantik from costco. At least you're good for life.
I looked, could not find a comparable one for even the sale price. Had a greenworks knock off drill style that was lost in the flood, been looking for a replacement but they're all north of 40 bucks, some north of 50. And all of those have a proprietary wall wart for a charger so if it was in the car and dead then you were just out of luck unless you had 3 hours and inverter.

At this price I'll bite, the light and ability to charge your phone in an emergency and plug it into a car lighter to use or charge were worth the entry price in my book.

Mostly paid reviews. None of the reviews have tested filling up a car tire that is completely empty. Going to pass. There isn't much indication that this is better than the generic ones for half the cost.

I own Crasftsman tools/batteries and recently bought a portable inflator/starter from Amazon (YaberAuto) for roughly $70-$80 and I think I'll pass on this. I don't carry my tools in my daily driving vehicle and wouldn't want to dedicate an entire tool battery to leaving in the car for emergencies.

Also, I'm not sure on the logistics, but the whole point of emergency jump starters/inflators is that you charge them and they're (within reason) always ready to go with the battery % degrading very slowly when stored away. I can't picture my weak 2.0 Ah Craftsman batteries holding enough of a charge to be able to reliably inflate more than 1 tire at any given time without having to charge it regularly (The YaberAuto only requires a vharge every couple of months). A 4.0 Ah Craftsman battery alone is $50+ and probably still wouldn't as function as well as a tool/battery that's specifically designed for this task.

I guess this would be cool to have if you have no other options, already own Craftsman tools/batteries, and carry/use them on a daily basis. I just personally think there are so many other cheaper, more efficient options that serve the same purpose.

Sorry to hear you were impacted by the flooding.

Amazon sells many for $15 or less with a battery. Reviews for any serious inflating aren't great.

Here's one example:
https://www.amazon.com/Inflator-C...0CHRCHTJ1/

Let us know how it goes with the Craftsman or the generic. Most of the portable ones struggle to fill a car tire from empty when you need it most.

So I just purchased this today. I need a car air inflator and I saw this on sale so I got it. At this price point the build quality is solid. Doesn't feel cheap. ( I've purchased others that feel way cheaper, but they were also at a cheaper price) If you're going to use this for a car, this is basically if you're 5 to 7 lb low on pressure. I'm sure it would probably fill up a completely empty tire, but you will probably use up most of the battery and or put heavy strain on the motor. I drive Uber and Lyft and I to keep tabs on my tire pressure for gas mileage.

The pressure gauge on my unit seems to be off. Maybe a pound to 2 lb. I checked it with an air gauge and that's what I found. This is better than most of the other air inflators I've purchased. Some have been off as much as 10 psi.

For the price do I think it's worth it? If you need one and you use it like I do I would say yes. It's small ish and it seems to work. Mind you I just use this once on a tire that was low about 5 PSI. It inflated that 5 PSI at a decent rate I thought. Don't expect this to fill this up in seconds. It took a about a minute to a minute and a half.

edit, just wanted to revisit this. today. I fill the air of four tires on my other car. The air gauges pretty accurate which I found uncommon with the other air inflators I had. The tires on this car were about 10 lb low. On the same charge. this was able to inflate them with no problem. I wanted to revisit the build quality. The bill quality is pretty solid for the unit. pretty satisfied

this inflator should inflate a tire. if it was completely flat. though, it'd probably take about 5 minutes or so.

This is not cordless, you have to plug it into the tire for it to work.

A quick search on TEMU found several brands of 150 PSI car tire inflators around $15 that have batteries.

Why does everything need a battery these days? With my luck, the thing would be dead when I really need it. I'll stick with my $10 12v Harbor Freight pump.
