Seems like a decent deal. The CPU and GPU are $550 themselves. Even if everything else is bottom of the barrel, $50 RAM, $50 Storage, $100 Motherboard, $60 650W PSU and the case looks like a rebadged Lancool 205m Mesh which goes for $70 at microcenter.

So $880 worth of parts for $800 with a free copy of windows and free assembly. Not bad at all if you want an entry level gaming PC.

Thank you for the suggestion, now any monitors that you can pair with? Idea size is 27 in?
Just about any 27in IPS monitor should do you fine. The iBUYPOWER pc has 3 display ports and 1 HDMI so if you care about them being uniform pick a monitor that has both inputs.

Here is the first one I found that looks decent:

Pffft. AMD employees everywhere you look. Why play a little bit of "light 1440p gaming" when you would rather play at 1440p all the time. Nope. Hold out for an Nvidia PC.

The other MC deal, https://slickdeals.net/f/17882382-micro-center-ryzen-5-7600x3d-asus-tuf-gaming-b650-plus-32gb-g-skill-ddr5-6000-400-free-store-pickup-select-locations
$400 with more RAM and somewhat better MB (wifi6+BT5.2)?
+PSU $70 + Case $70 + Cooler $30 + 1TB $60 + RX7600 $250 = $880.

Has anyone given this a try yet? I'm torn between this and building one using the Newegg 7600X bundle deal. A build using the Newegg deal and an RX 6750 XT (about 20% faster than an RX 7600) will come out to about $100 cheaper after shipping and taxes. I've found lots of comparisons of the 7600X and 7600x3D using high-end graphics cards, but nothing with a mid-range. Is it worth paying ~$100 more for a lesser graphics card but better processor? Note, the prices above assume that I can transfer the windows license from my current computer to this new one.

It seems that most of the benefit of x3D Ryzens is in gaming. Particularly CPU bound titles at high frame rates. I'm productivity applications the x3D processors are typically slower than the X and non-X Ryzens. The comparisons I've seen between the Intel 14400 and and AMD 7600s have them most neck and neck. But I know that some Intel 13th and 14th Gen chips has stability issues that Intel says have been addressed.

It's gone up to $850. I guess that's still pretty good?
