does this still use their shitty old halfworking app for controlling the network media or does this version improve upon their shitty network interface and apps?

Like does spotify work good and output to zone 2 or is it a shit show like it was for the models from 5-10 yrs ago

HI All

Last year Adorama was running a similar sale on the Denon AVR-s970h receiver for around 350.
Is this Onkyo a better receiver when it comes just to music listening? If you wanted the same features in a Denon receiver as this onkyo, which model and at price would that be?

Does this or any other amp stream YouTube Music directly?

I listen to a very broad and odd selection of music.

YouTube is the only service that has almost all of the music I listen to.

The last time I tried other streaming services, the "not in the catalog" rate of my favorites list was over 10% on the other services listed here.

Until recently, I was simultaneously subscribed to three different streaming services to get all that I really wanted.

Subs are normally line voltage with amplification in the sub itself.

I don't think any receiver does. I read that somewhere fairly recently as I'm also a YouTube Music subscriber from the old Google Play days
