Have a 25% off and it does work on xbox. However, I used it on a Osmo Pocket 3. Great price with the 25% off.

I made another Target account in hopes of getting the coupon, but no dice.

However, when I registered, I entered a birthday that was a couple of days away, and they just emailed me a birthday coupon for an additional 5% off my total order that's good for 30 days. I'm going to try combining that and paying with gift cards from the 10% off Target gift card sale that always comes around a weekend or two after Thanksgiving to knock $75 total off the price. Not as slick as OP's deal, but better than nothing.
