I LOVE my Q-revo as a bot-mop but its vacuum (at 5500) is pretty pathetic. It has endless trouble with little white dog toy stuffing on low pile carpet, and also sand/grit lying on the tile grout lines. As much as I hated my older iRobot i7 and 680, neither seemed to have any trouble with picking that stuff up. Definitely keep shopping for the Revo; but I would suggest passing this model in favor of the newer version with more suction.
This simply isn't true, at least with this model. The water in the waste tank does indeed get nasty when left for a long time. But it's completely sealed from the room and the rest of the machine. No smell escapes. I've left water in for almost 2 weeks and while it was disgusting, there was no smell outside of the machine.
Folks, the fact that the smell doesn't leak out of the sealed water tank should not provide much comfort.

As one person pointed out, these auto-fill and drain mopping vacs are still in their early generations. Mold can be a problem and is really bad for your health and that of your family.

The clean water tank should never smell. Period. That's the water that's going to go into the robot to mop your floors. You don't want a robot spreading moldy water all over your house. Kind of defeats the purpose. And if you have to empty it daily to prevent issues, then you've got mold growing in the system.

Roborock sells silver ion cartridges that go in the clean water tank, and cleaning solution that you add to the clean water tank when you fill it up. Those should help.

The newest models disinfect and dry the mops before and after each cycle. I have the Qrevo Curv and the dock is pretty impressive. It's only 6 weeks old but the mops and the clean water tank have remained spotless and odor free. The used water tank can get stinky but it's isolated, with the valves at the top, so I just splash a little bleach on the bottom every time I empty it and that has solved the issue (don't do this with the clean water tank!)

I was thinking the same and have been pondering it for a while, decided to go with Costco due to the return policy and frankly that's the only advantage if going Costco route.
Costco returns for life time or only 90 days?

Purchase an Asurion 3yr warranty from Amazon for $50 and buy the Qrevo Plus from Amazon/Roborock. Better deal.

Or check if you have 20% off code on Target Circle and purchase Pro version there for $480.

Seems it's YMMV based on this Slickdeals link: https://slickdeals.net/f/17938242-target-circle-20-off-ymmv

Very much YMMV.

If the Target deal isn't available, the Roborock 5% off is the next best deal. Stack a 5% Cash back from a participating CC (Total of 10%).

$614 OTD with taxes. Add an Asurion 3yr warranty on for < $60. $675 for a mid tear robot vacuum that is warranteed for 4 years...

After extensive research, ended up going with the Costco QX Revo. The ability to get a hassle-free refund if something goes wrong is very much worth it to me. As others have said, there are horror stories on the web regarding having to deal with Roborock customer service, especially on Reddit.

I missed the $500 deal, but ordered anyway for $550 since my downstairs Neato B3 has died. Originally ordered the Pro version from Bestbuy for $599, but from previous experiences with Roomba and Neato, the lifespan of these robots can be limited and heard that Roborock support isn't the best. I know the Pro is a better deal, but the Costco lifetime return policy is just a game changer. I don't have any carpeting only hardwood floors and non-slip ceramic tile. The non-slip tile is hard to keep clean due to the crevices that provide the non-slip surface, I'm hoping this can handle it. I have an early iteration of a Roomba Braava Mopping robot which was utterly useless on this tile. Hoping for better results with this. Since I don't have carpeting, I figure the 5500 Pa should be sufficient.

Make sure you connect to 2.4 ghz only. I tried to connect to my routers 5 ghz and it didn't work at first.

Bought Pro from Roborock during BF with 10% of student discount and 5% paypal cashback, Pro is worth the money over this Costco model, which is a older Qrev. The only issue I have with mopping is that its not spotless, its leaving swirl marks on the wooden floor..researching if I can use any floor cleaner safely with this machine.

Issue is not with internet as I have 2.4 ghz. Looks like I have to change password becoz of special characters. It is just a nuisance as a product worth $500 cannot accommodate such password and now I have no choice but to change Wi-Fi password becoz of this one appliance.
