rtings.com says the Dell is much better for most people, unless HDR is important to you because the Dell is brighter but the MSI has better color and the Dell's always-on-in-HDR local dimming is "terrible" (their word).

read from different sources that some monitor size and certain resolutions is not ideal fo MacOS due to how mac scaling works.

This is the best bang for buck monitor under $200.
I have 2 of these and ordered a 3rd today as I had dell rewards sitting idle

I'm in for one, thanks OP! This monitor has two DisplayPort ports, which I've been looking for to daisy chain my monitors. With the 165hz refresh rate, this fits my needs perfectly and it's the cheapest 165hz monitor with two DP ports I've seen.

I went ahead and grabbed the MSI from Costco. I already have the Dell. I was able to easily adjust them to be identical. They are essentially the same. Lots of people echo chambering the Dell. Costco has better returns and is more convenient
