I got this deal for $139.99 at Best Buy last night, signing up through Verizon (I do not have any services with VZW). This morning signed up for the account portal and logged in. Saw my newly activated number. Proceeded to the online account chat and successfully canceled the line. Received a email cancelation notice and an "estimated final bill" and it is saying a charge for "FULL RETAIL DEVICE PROMO" of $360.00!!!!! I immediately called customer care, they are saying they see the charge but it hasn't "fully posted" yet so they cannot do anything about it. Will this charge drop off? Will I need to return the unlocked moto g stylus 5G 2024 device to Best Buy to not be charged $360.00? Also, the VZW activation I signed up for "waved" the activation fee, does that have anything to do with it? I do not see anything in the T&C's I signed at Best Buy about a fee like this...
Motorola Moto g Stylus 5G 128 GB 2024 Total Wireless locked seems to be $100 at walmart no ID or new line port in? Am I missing something? Can't we buy and just use this on existing Total Wireless or other Verizon MVNO right way?
Then wait 60 days and request unlock to use with AT&T or T-Mobile?
I now see would need at least month of service.
"However, not all phone models unlock automatically, but instead receive the unlock codes via a text message. Also, you must activate the phone with the sim that is included with it. if you move an active sim from another phone and sticking it into a new phone, or activate with a bring your own phone (byop) sim purchased separately, they will have not unlock the phone as they would not be aware that it was ever activated'
I just tried the total wireless order after verification and it's giving full price even after verification of GV # or my US mobile #. Maybe system error or they changed something
