This might be posted in different ways. I just feel I need to post it specifically for your convenience.
How to do: Activate your 5% quarterly cashback from your chase cards (any) and link it to your paypal. Add 5% walmart and best buy cash back from paypal offers. You are good to get 10% back in total when you shop from Walmart or best Buy.
There are two deals combo:
1. 5% cash back from Chase cards if you pay with Paypal ($1500 limit each card), expired 12/31.
2. 5% cash back from Paypal if you add walmart or Bestbuy cash back offers. (PS.: Whenever you add it, you have 7 days to use it, so you might add it before you are ready to buy; After one use, you need to add it again. expired 01/7/2025.
I got Ebay gift cards from BestBuy and it successfully give me 10% back total. Then I can add Bestbuy offer again to my offer and buy more!
Good for the shopping season!

Also purchased a $100 Amazon gift card online at Best Buy as a test. PayPal and Chase both credited 5% each within a week. An easy way to get 10% off Amazon.

I think you are wrong, Just look at the your transaction history. It wont list the retailer but rather it would say the charge came from Paypal
I used the PayPal + Best Buy offer last night, and sure enough there was something else more expensive at Best Buy I wanted this morning. I read the entire thread where it was briefly stated you have to re-add the Best Buy PayPal offer each time which should be under the Saved offers. I've never used a PayPal offer before.
I logged into PayPal and could not find the Best Buy offer under regular offers or saved offers. The pending rewards points showed with today's date. Someone posted it's best only to use it once per day, but it seems like it's only available/visible once per day. So I won't see my PayPal Best Buy offer again until PayPal's time zone changes to tomorrow?
From what little I could tell on PayPal, you can redeem rewards points 100 for $1 and I assume that just sits in your PayPal account as cash?
Not having the PayPal Best Buy offer this morning, not knowing if the item I want would be OOS or go off sale tomorrow, and being unsure if the CC extended warranty really works via PayPal, I just kissed off about $20 in possible rewards and did it the sure-fire way using the CC directly and only 1% rewards.
For me to feel confident the CC extended warranty works via PayPal, I would need to see post(s) saying someone has successfully used the CC extended warranty via PayPal rather than speculations it SHOULD work. I've never actually filed a claim with a CC extended warranty, but I've read many success stories.
If what you're saying were true, then using a Visa card through PayPal wouldn't make sense. When I use Visa as the payment method on PayPal, PayPal still pays the fee for using the Visa network. In this case, Visa is processing the payment on behalf of PayPal, not directly on behalf of the buyer.
One advantage of using PayPal, especially for international transactions, is that you can often avoid international transaction fees compared to using a card directly

I think BB offer is dead. They seemed to have removed it because I had added it less than 7 days ago and just searched for it to re-add and cant find
I see apple products listed as exclusions in shop through chase. Are you seeing the 8% in your account?
Edit: Oops, I thought I was replying to a MacBook thread.
