Doesnt seem to be a great deal been this price since Oct 29th and was this price for almost all of September. Have been watching this for a while hoping to drop below $300.
Card is a good bang for your buck though. Hit $280 back in September so maybe wait till end of month?

I wish this was a Sapphire Nitro. Still waiting on a Sapphire card to drop. Good card though with a nice price for sure

Heads up I have a 6700xt from same make and hotspot temps are in the mid 100cs during gaming. On the other hand My 6750xt from xfx is about 85c hotspot in the same setup. I would aim for 3 fan models unless your case cant fit it.

It could be a one-off issue with your card. Plus, different model altogether. Have you tried repasting it?

PowerColor models tend to stay pretty cool, from what I remember.

For those wondering, here is where you can see a performance comparison with other GPUs: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-s...0-xt.c3879

I thought they were about the same performance wise.

Definitely much better price wise:
~$300 RX 6750 XT 12GB
~$380 (+27%) RTX 4060 Ti 8GB
~$450 (+50%) RTX 4060 Ti 16GB

I settled with undervolting for now. Ill probably repaste after the warranty runs out so far the card is a little over a year old.

This will be good enough as long as you are not shooting for 4k/120hz+; the 7700 xt was $350 and much newer and slightly better, so that is my hesitation thinking this is a decent deal

What is your budget and how often do you plan on upgrading in the future? And may I ask what racing games?

Technically, you can get away with an even lesser GPU, like the RX 6650 XT ($230), but it depends on what your budget, update cycle, and performance expectations are.

Minecraft is not a demanding game on the GPU so this is probably complete overkill for that. Racing games is probably a different story. A better GPU is probably nice there but you can always scale performance up and down quite a bit on GPUs by simply adjusting the game settings. For a cheap ebay PC my biggest concern would be the power supply. Most of the Dell/Lenovo/etc mini tower business PCs come with very low power PSUs and they are often proprietary and hard to replace. Most won't provide enough power to run a card like this. The powercolor page says a 650W PSU with a 6 and 8 pin connector for the GPU. You aren't going to get that from a stock OEM PSU outside of maybe a workstation class machine.

Ive got the hellhound version of this with a 7700 processor. It has done very well even with 4k.

Would it matter if my pc is caseless?

I was thinking the same thing. I've been watching this one for a while too. I thought about pulling the trigger back in September, at the same price. With all the new GPUs that have hit the market recently, I was hoping to see it drop to the $250, on sale. I'm going to wait a little longer. Trying to build a budget AM5 computer for my boys that has future upgradability.
