Very frustrating to have the bevel change on you as you're making your cut. In my opinion, the use case for jigsaw to cut at bevels is pretty minimal, I wish they'd just manufacture it at a fixed 90 degrees.

I have the 18v D handle version and mine never slips from 90. I've had it for years
