For anyone wondering, this package includes 1 year of service of unlimited talk/text and 24GB of data for the whole year. The phone automatically unlocks after 60 days of activation. You can text UNLOCK twice to 611611 and it will reply you with the exact date the phone will unlock.

You can bring your phone number during activation.

You can move the service to a different phone by purchasing a Tracfone SIM kit [bestbuy.com] after you activate the line.

The biggest difference is going to be the display- going form the 720p IPS LCD on the A13 to a 1080p Super AMOLED on the A15. 2nd main difference is cameras, A15 adds an ultra-wide lens (in A13 3rd lens was for depth perception). And battery charges a bit faster.

Why would you need the SIM kit to move the service? The A15 doesn't use ESIM so can't you just move the SIM that comes with the phone?

No, they are not. I always move the SIM card from cheap Tracfone flip phone to iphone with no problem whatsoever (and back and forth with Motorola phones).

Tracfone used to lock SIM to the phone it comes in. But some here claim that it's not so anymore. So SIMs may be swappable now. I haven't tested it yet.

Can I keep my number and transfer the remaining balance to the new phone? I do this every year when purchasing a new cheap TracFone phone with 1500 talk/text/data for 1 year but this one is with unlimited talk/text and 24 GB.
Let say I only have 1 minutes, 1 SMS and 1 GB data and expiration date is 2026. If I buy this phone, can I have 25 GB of data and unlimited talk/text till 2027?

I've tried once before, moving SIM card from a TCL flip phone to my unlocked Samsung S23, but I could only call and send SMS and couldn't use mobile internet (4G LTE/5G) so I had to buy a new SIM kit

Usually, they just tack on your original plan to the end of the unlimited when it runs out.
