- 600 nits of brightness. This is 50% more than the average midrange TV (400 nits / q651g) and only 100 nits less than the QM7.
- Local dimming with 128 zones. Dimming works very well - very little haloing on outer space scenes.
- Very high (8000:1, 9000:1) native contrast. Local dimming is almost not needed!
- QLED - quantum dots, more vibrant colors, higher color gamut, brighter, more energy efficient.
- 75 inches - this TV is THREEE LEVELS UP from the S4 series people have been touting, S4xx, S5xx, Q651x, Q681g/Q691f, QM7, QM8

75 inch monitor???? Seriously??
I doubt anyone would use this tv as a primary monitor, though they COULD.
The person I was replying to was complaining that he had a large collection of ripped or downloaded movies that he couldn't watch with USB sticks or devices, because the files were too big to fit with the FAT32 file system (required by the TV for USB), which doesn't allow files bigger than 4GB. (4K movie files are often much bigger than that, unless they're encoded with HEVC/x265, and even then, they're often bigger.)
He was complaining that he can't watch his content. And I was offering him a good way to do so with this tv. It's what I do, too. To be clear, I'm not using the tv as a monitor. I have a long HDMI cable going from my PC (on my desk in the corner of the room) to my TV (in the middle of the living room). With the TV being treated by my PC as a a second monitor, I can drag the video player onto that screen, expand it to full screen and watch the show or movie on the TV. Another option would be to use it as a second monitor on a laptop plugged into and next to the tv.
For sound, you can use the tv's built-in speakers, or use ARC to send sound to a receiver. Unfortunately, my older receiver doesn't support ARC, so I use a second HDMI cable from my PC's video card to send the sound separately to it and my surround speakers.
