not true at all.
28" 4K no scaling is the sweetspot, for ergonomics.

It's $180...

People really have nothing better to do than parrot these statements over and over day after day? I wish I could get dopamine hits that easily.

That's a 2K monitor, this is 4K.

Just got mine today - replaced a 3yr old costco LG 27" 1080p monitor. Easy drop-in with existing power connection & existing HDMI to Mac Mini 4. Immediate difference in text and sharpness. This is just what I was looking for as a basic several hours per day work tasker...an improvement! Glad I saved at least $50 vs. other BF deals - tomorrow will try a display port to MM4 thunder bolt and see if there's any difference. In the meantime, this is a fine 4k monitor for $177 bargain by an established and known brand.

Appreciate the comment. On the fence about his deal. Might just have to get one to try out the MM4 with a 4K.

Full disclosure - again I'm a very basic user. As I'm typing this reply I notice I don't fully need my persciription computer distance glasses like with the LG 1080P. I sit close to the monitor - 3ft at the most reclining, but lean-in closer when typing improtant emails. Adding the glasses now with this new monitor, the text is sharper and clearer than ever - kicking myself for not jumping on a 4k monitor sooner. And for my desk set-up the squareish base works way better than the wide crescent LG base.

Appreciate it. Basic user here too! Just want to try something better than a 1080p!

I recieved the monitor today. I am very happy with the purchage under $200 for 4K HDR10 monitor, and I have these to share:

The pakage is nice, protective, the monitor is light, easy to setup.

27" or 32": I picked 27" 4K because I setup this along with two 24" HD monitors. For 32 in, I would only go for 2 monitors side by side max.

color with HDR is super over my current normal HD monitor, the text is sharp.

300 cd/m² is not an issue for me.

I mainly use for work/office use, and some photography.

The DisplayPort connection will give you 10-bit color. The HDMI connection might be limited to 8-bit color, so it's a safer bet to go with the DisplayPort.
