This brand is ass. European sounding name to sound expensive but founded in San Francisco. Products are pretty average. You can find similar for cheaper or much better products at a slightly higher price
They reformulated one of the top clays/my most used one a few years back (Quicksand). It's noticeably more dark yellow and just doesn't matte your hair as much as the old one did (was almost a pseudo dry shampoo) with a decent hold. Now it feels watered down and just greases it a slight bit and you need another product to hold it on top of it.
Also ordered a Claymation that was too hard to scoop out of without spraying or watering down the actual product that came from the last B1G1 promotion. Needless to say, too many issues with this brand to buy again.

Did you ever find a good replacement for quicksand (the older better formulation)?

Unfortunately not, I'm still working through the bulk order. I end up having to use either a sea salt spray in combination and potentially a hair spray after. I'll be looking into matte clays to see if anything else can mimic it but I read on another forum, someone else went through the same thing and never found a replacement.

I've noticed the same thing and was wondering if it was just me getting the bad unit. I loved old Quicksand. Now just use Claymation which doesn't have the same effect but its the next best thing from their line. Would love to see if anyone finds acceptable replacement
