Beats the 4070 Ti Super and just under the 4080 Super in performance (Outside of Ray Tracing)
20GB VRAM
vs
12-16 GB VRAM for Nvidia besides the 4090 and XTX for 24GB.
This is the same price as a 4070 Super, while being way higher performance.
If you dont need nvidia features, this is the gpu to buy right now.
Personally I like nvidia software better for movies and super resolution. If i wasnt such a movie and anime watcher, you just need an AMD gpu for better price to performance.
the 7000 series GPU's are also very tuned now and you dont have to worry about stability. I would just warn you that AMD seems to suffer from browser enhanced graphics.
For purely gaming, AMD cannot be beat at price to performance.
I got this gpu for $700 a few months ago and that was still the best price to performance. I just miss nvidia's super resolution for movies and anime watching. It helps clear up pixels on entertainment.
If AMD had this feature to help remove pixelation from movies I would totally stay AMD. Nvidia also has an HDR enhancement feature, unfortuneately AMD does not have this either.
Pure Gaming Performance up to 4k 144hz = 7900 XT (XTX if you have the money for not much more performance and more wattage)
Movies+Gaming = Nvidia Anything for your resolution and hertz rate.
Note that to get this performance you have to spend $1000 for the 4080 Super with Nvidia.
Again, This is the best price to performance on the market that you will get for a long time. 5000 series on Nvidia is expected to cost more than the 4000 series.

I picked 7900xtx. Not sure I made the right decision but they were all open box items at microcenter
their performance looks to be the exact same, and the 4070-s is cheaper
Use TechPowerUp instead, as a starting point. The 7900 XT is ~20% faster than the 4070 Super in rasterization, and the gap widens as you increase the resolution and texture quality. Plus, it has 67% more VRAM.

acer makes a bunch of stuff, apparently you only know for their monitors (which aren't even that good imo)
15 to 20 frames more sounds dumb for a 30% more cost, your other statements provide a more compelling reason
as long as the gpu isn't extremely loud or thermal throttling, fans don't really matter, except for noise
2 fan cards can have a fitment benefit, so this could be used in itx cases where 3 fans aren't an option
the warranty can be the main compelling reason, even if you buy the additional 3 year warranty from newegg, it would add 50 on, which would end up being 530, and that costs similar to other 7900 gre's that have 2+year warranty and are just plain better cards
620 only works if you have the budget for it, but this isn't that good of a deal for a 7900 xt in the first place
7900 xt's have been staying at around 650, and this is only 30 off
7900 gre's have mostly been at 550, and this is 70 off

Even though the post is marked as expired, I am glad I decided to click anyway and see it is available from the Fennec Inc. Arrives Friday December 6th so must be backordered a bit, but available. Hope this posts helps someone that missed one and wanted to order.
Edit: be weary of the $440 seller with the long name. I'm sure they are a scam. Cancelled fennec and reordered as Amazon seller for $20 more but delivery on Tuesday.
